As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CONDUCTING BLOOD DONATION CAMP.
A BLOOD DONATION CAMP WAS ORGANIZES UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE LIONS CLUB OF MURUDESHWAR, THE INDIAN CATHOLIC YOUTH MOVEMENT BHATKAL AND THE BLOOD BANK CENTRE KUMTA. A TOTAL 50 UNITS OF BLOOD WERE COLLECTED DURING THE CAMP AND HANDED OVER TO THE BLOOD BANK.

1. Activity Title: SSLC Exam Preparation and Pre-Examination Motivation Workshop 2. Activity Date & Time: February 20, 2026 | 02:30 PM 3. Venue: Government Girls High School (G.G. High School), Jamkhandi 4. Organized By: Lions Club of Jamkhandi (District 317 B, Region 11, Zone 3) 5. Resource Persons & Key Guests: Chief Resource Person: Prof. S. M. Kumbar (Lion GLT Member, Govt. PU College, Maigur-Hunur) Guest of Honor: Shri Mahantesh Narasanagoudar (Vice Principal, G.G. High School, Jamkhandi) Club Leadership: Ln. Dr. M. P. Tanappagola (President), Ln. Er. Anand Chougule (Secretary), and Ln. Ramesh Kori (Treasurer) 6. Objective: To provide critical academic guidance, time-management strategies, and psychological motivation to SSLC (Class 10) students to help them face the 2026 board examinations with confidence and reduce exam-related stress. 7. Program Summary : The Lions Club of Jamkhandi successfully conducted a specialized workshop for SSLC students at G.G. High School. The keynote speaker, Prof. S. M. Kumbar, delivered an engaging session focusing on effective study techniques and mental preparation. The program addressed common student anxieties and provided actionable tips for answering board-level questions. The school administration expressed their gratitude to the Lions Club for this timely initiative aimed at improving the academic performance of local students. 8. Impact/Beneficiaries: Direct Beneficiaries: 387 SSLC Students Community Outcome: The workshop concluded with a positive response from both students and faculty. It successfully fostered a supportive environment for the students, empowering them with the tools needed for academic excellence in their upcoming board exams.
