As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Free eye check up camp
Third Free eye check up camp was organised at St Joseph high school shiroda in association with Shree Matoshri seva trust mumbai and st Joseph high school shiroda.Nearly 280 people got their eye check up and spectacles were distributed at nominal price of Rs 160/. Chief guest for the program was shri Subhash shirodkar Hon .MLA and minister for WRD. Guest of honor was Fr. Leslie Parish priest of st Joseph Church shiroda. zone chairman Lion gaurish vernekar and DC pmjf lion Joaquim Gonsalves and DC lion Harshad Naik were present.

ZC OFFICIAL VISIT TO LIONS CLUB MUNDGOD (CHARTER PRESENTED ON 20/09/2025, HENCE VISIT NOT HAPPEND IN AUG 25)
Activity Title: Zone Chairperson Visit – Lions Club Mundgod Date: 21.09.2025 Place: Mundgod Details of the Activity: As the Charter was not presented earlier, the Zone Chairperson’s official visit scheduled in August 2025 could not be conducted. Following the Charter Presentation on 20th September 2025, the Zone Chairperson visited Lions Club Mundgod on 21st September 2025. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the future of the new club, highlighting the need for strong membership bonding, induction of new members, and retention of existing members. Guidance was also provided on planning good service activities to benefit the community and strengthen the club. Impact: The visit motivated members to focus on growth, retention, and impactful service, ensuring a strong foundation for Lions Club Mundgod.

ATTENDANCE AT PEACE POSTER COMPETITION CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB SIRSI
Activity Title: Lions International Peace Poster Contest Date: 19.09.2025 & 20.09.2025 Place: Sirsi Details of the Activity: Lions Club of Sirsi organised the Lions International Peace Poster Contest on 19th September 2025 for the students of Lions School, Sirsi and on 20th September 2025 for Shriniketan and other local schools. The theme for this year’s contest is “Together as One.” The contest inspires children to express their creativity and imagination on the importance of peace and unity. Students enthusiastically participated and conveyed the message of harmony through their beautiful posters. Impact: The activity helped spread the message of peace, unity, and togetherness among young students while providing them a platform to showcase their artistic talents. CHARTER PRESENTATION TO LIONS CLUB MUNDGOD
Activity Title: Charter Presentation of Lions Club Mundgod Date: 20.09.2025 Place: Mundgod Details of the Activity: Lions Club of Sirsi sponsored Lions Club Mundgod at the fag end of the Lions year 2024–25. The Charter Presentation Ceremony was held on 20th September 2025. Past District Governor Lion Manoj Manik, the District Governor of 317B for the year 2024–25, formally handed over the Charter to Charter President Lion Shridhar Koneri of Lions Club Mundgod. PDG Lion Dr. Ravi Hegde, Huvinmane, administered the oath to the new members. On this occasion, dignitaries highlighted the importance of Lionism and the various humanitarian activities undertaken by Lions Clubs International. The new Charter President, Lion Shridhar Koneri, also briefed the gathering about his future plans and vision for Lions Club Mundgod. Teachers day celebration and official visit of Region chairman to our club
Teachers day was celebrated at All Goa senior citizens federation office Margao Goa.Three retired teachers were felicitated for their valuable and selfless services rendered in the field of education.chief guest for the program was Region chairman Lion Dharmu Raut desai who paid his official visit to the club.DC pmjf lion Joaquim Gonsalves and DC lion Harshad Naik were present.

Tree plantation
On 6th September 2025 club organised a program of tree plantation at benaulim beach behind Hotel Taj Exotica. It was a unique program to protect natural Flora and Fauna and to save beaches from sand erosion. We planted special type of saplings and creepers which helps to protect soil erosion.It will be beneficial to local fishermen, local people and also tourists. It was a big success attended by police personnel.school students and local fishermen.
