As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Official DG visit and Charter Night
The Lions Club of Curchorem–Sanvordem celebrated the District Governor’s Official Visit and Charter Night on Sunday, 22nd February 2026, at Kantas Purushmaru Hall, Morailem, Curchorem, Goa. The occasion was graced by District 317 B District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik. Also present were District Cabinet Secretary PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti J. Naik, District Cabinet Treasurer MJF Lion Rahul Vernekar, Region III Zone I Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Krishnaji Bagali, the Board of Directors, members of the club, and PST members from other clubs. The meeting was called to order by Club President Lion Sameer Naik. The Flag Salutation was led by Lion Aslam Shaikh, followed by the welcome address delivered by the President. The activity report of the club was presented by Club Secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai. Lion Renzilla Fernandes formally introduced the District Governor. During his address, the District Governor guided members on various aspects of leadership, membership growth, service activities, and the club’s role towards society. He appreciated all the activities performed by our club. On this special occasion, the club felicitated 3 felicities, a senior government servant and former postman Mr. Tulshidas Naik, Master Lovkesh Gaonkar (National Player) a young achiever in Ball Badminton sports and Gauravi Ravi Dessai for her Achievements in Weightlifting Sports. The felicitation was done at the hands of the District Governor. The District Governor also awarded District International Pins to club members Lion CA Vaibhav Bale and Lion Avin Naik in recognition of their contributions. The highlight of the evening was Club President Lion Sameer Naik’s generous contribution towards the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), through which he became the first MJF member from the Curchorem–Sanvordem Club. The vote of thanks was proposed by Club Treasurer Lion Ashwin Dsouza. The Masters of Ceremony for the evening were Lion Mukesh Patekar and Lion Renzilla Fernandes.

Pre Region Meet of Region 3, Zone 1 and Zone 2
On 17.02.2026 Our Club President Lion Sameer Naik, Club Secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai, Club Treasurer Lion Ashwin Dsouza along with DC Lion Avin Naik attended the Pre-Region Meet organized by Region Chairperson PMJF Lion Vishwambar Kenkre at MCC Hall, Margao. The meeting included a fruitful discussion with the organizing committee and the Presidents of Clubs from Region 3, Zone 1 and Zone 2. It was an interactive session focusing on coordination, planning, and strengthening club activities within the region.

On 21st Feb 2026 our Club President Lion Sameer Naik, Club Secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai, Club Treasurer Lion Ashwin Dsouza, VP1 Lion Rocha Pereira, Lion Renzilla Fernandese along with DC Lion Avin Naik attended Region Meet 2026 of region 3 “SEVOTSAV” Under the leadership of Region Chairperson PMJF lion Vishwambhar Kenkre hosted by Lions Club of Margao Ravanfond. Our club participated in Banner Presentation at the Region Meet.

BOD Meeting of Club
The Board of Directors Meeting of the Lions Club of Curchorem–Sanvordem was held on Sunday, 22nd February 2026, at Kantas Purushmaru Hall, Morailem, Curchorem, Goa. The meeting was called to order by Club President Lion Sameer Naik. During the meeting, various administrative matters and service activities were reviewed. District 317 B District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik guided the members on leadership development, membership growth, effective service projects, and the club’s role towards society. District Cabinet Secretary PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti J. Naik, District Cabinet Treasurer MJF Lion Rahul Vernekar, Region III Zone I Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Krishnaji Bagali and our club members attended the BOD Meeting. The meeting concluded with valuable inputs and direction for the club’s future initiatives. Vote of thanks presented by Club secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai.
