As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CHILDREN CANCER AWARENESS CAMP

A CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS CAMP WAS ORGANISED ON 11.02.2026 AT GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOL BETAGERI VILLAGE IN GOKAK TALUK.THE STUDENTS OF THE HIGH SCHOOL WERE ADDRESSED BY DR,PRAMITA MURGOD AND DR.AMAR MURGOD REGARDING CHILDHOOD CANCER. AROUND 70 STUDENTS,TEACHERS OF THE SCHOOL,AND MANY OF OUR LIONS CLUB WERE PRESENT.

BOD MEETING OF THE CLUB WAS CONDUCTED ON 09.02.2026 DURING 8.30 AM TO 10.30 AM TO DISCUSS THE ACTIVITIES FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2026.OUR SENIOR LION MEMBER MJF LION DR.ASHOK MURGOD"S BIRTHDAY WAS CELEBRATED ON THE DAY.

EYE CHECKUP CAMP

EYE SCREENING CAMP AND EYE AND BODY DONATION AWARENESS AND REGISTRATION CAMP WAS CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 01.02.2026 AT SHANKARLING KALYANA MANTAP IN ASSOCIATION WITH LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS.AROUND 100 SENIORS WERE SCREENED FOR VISION PROBLEMS AND 13 EYE DONATION AND 3 BODY DONATION WERE REGISTERTED.LOCAL DIGNITORIES,AND MANY LION MEMBERS WERE PRESENT.
