As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Participation in the Multiple District Convention held at Bengaluru on 23rd and 24th May 2026.Felicitation received by Lions Club of Dandeli City on the occasion of our Golden Jubilee Year (50 Years of Service) at the Multiple District Convention, which was received on behalf of the Club by the President.

Lions club gokak has arranged eye camp at rajanakatti village gokak taluka on 28th may 2026.118 patients eye checkup done .out of this 17 patients referred to cataract surgery. And for 22 patients distributed chasma.

MRS MANJULA R HALAGE,WIFE OF DECEASED RAMACHANDRA HALAGE,IN CONSULTATION WITH HER FAMILY MEMBERS DONATED THE BODY OF RAMACHANDRA HALAGEAFTER HIS DEATH ON 20.05.2026.THE BODY AFTER RECEIVING BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK WAS SENT TO K L E MEDICAL COLLEGE,BELGAUM ON THE SAME DAY.LION PRESIDENT SHRISHAIL HANJI,LION ASHOK LAGAMAPPAGOL,LION SURESH SINDIHATTI AND MANY LIONS WERE PRESENT.

11th May 2026 - The Orthopaedic Bank of Lions club of Candolim lent its Oxygen Concentrator to Mr Savio A. Fernandes from Candolim who is suffering from Lung related illness. 15th May 2026 - The Lions Club of Candolim along with the Leo Club of Candolim donated groceries consisting of 25 kgs rice, 5 kgs Dal, 3 kgs Sugar, 5 litres Sunflower Oil, 5 kgs Atta, 1 kg Salt, 1 kg Tea Powder, 500g Garam Masala, 500g Chilly Powder, 500g Turmeric Powder and 500g Mixed Pickle to 5 deserving migrant families in Candolim. 19th May 2026 - The Lions Club of Candolim along with the Leo Club of Candolim donated groceries consisting of 25 kgs rice, 5 kgs Dal, 3 kgs Sugar, 5 litres Sunflower Oil, 5 kgs Atta, 1 kg Salt, 1 kg Tea Powder, 500g Garam Masala, 500g Chilly Powder, 500g Turmeric Powder and 500g Mixed Pickle to a deserving migrant family in Candolim. 19th May 2026 - Eight members of the Lions Club of Candolim attended the Region Meet of MJF Lion Murtaza Matheranwala of Region V organized by the Lions Club of Candolim 30th May - The Board of Directors and General Body Meeting of the Lions club of Candolim was held on 30th May to discuss the following agenda: - Activities for the month of June - Installation of the New BoD for the New Lionistic Year 2026 - 2027 - A.O.B During the meeting President Lion Jude Lopes presented the Club Excellence pin to IPP MJF Lion Lanny Fialho. PMJF Lion Joan D'Souza was also presented the PMJF pin by the President. 31st May 2026 - The Lions Club of Candolim felicitated a distinguished Konkani stage artist 84 year old Mrs Diana Fernandes from Saipem, Candolim. She was honoured at her home in recognition of her outstanding and yeoman service to the world of Tiatr, the traditional Konkani musical theatre of Goa. Ever since the age of seven the artist has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to this field, captivating audiences through her exceptional acting, singing, and stage performances. Her commitment, passion, and perseverance have earned her immense respect within the Tiatr fraternity and among Konkani-speaking communities. The Lions Club of Candolim believes that honoring elders combats ageism and ensures that elderly individuals do not face isolation, promoting active, independent, and fulfilling lives. 31st May 2026 - Lions Club of Candolim Felicitates 91-Year-Old Accountant Mr. Lazaro Lamartine Cardozo The Lions Club of Candolim had the privilege of felicitating Mr. Lazaro Lamartine Cardozo, aged 92 years, in recognition of his exceptional and selfless service to the community over several decades. A former Accountant in the Government Department, Mr. Cardozo has been widely respected not only for his professional integrity but also for his unwavering commitment to serving others. Even after retirement, he generously offered his expertise and guidance free of charge to the Church and to numerous individuals seeking assistance with accounts, documentation, and other related matters. His willingness to help without expecting anything in return has touched the lives of countless people and has made a significant contribution to the welfare of the community. Through his dedication, honesty, and spirit of service, Mr. Cardozo has become an inspiration to people of all ages.
