As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Hosted " EMPOWER THE PRIDE" of Region II conducted by Rc Ln Dharmu G. Raut Dessai by our club in our clubhouse. 2nd DG PMJF Ln. Sudesh Borkar, PDG LN Shashidharan Nair, PDG Ln. Nitin Maganlal were key speakers. Lion Sunil Kavlekar briefed about the reporting process & techniques. Lion Dr. Chandranath Hiremath also shared his views. our club president Ln Mahesh Lotliker delivered a welcome address and ZC Ln Gauresh Vernekar delivered thanks giving address.

Visit to Lions Club Of Mapusa on Their Blood Donation camp
Grand Success at Blood Donation Camp Organized by Lions Club of Mapusa in Association with Assagao Association The Lions Club of Mapusa, in collaboration with the Assagao Association, organized a highly successful blood donation camp at Assagao Union High School, Assagao, bringing together the community in a noble cause. A total of 44 generous donors, including teachers, parents, ex-students, and members of the Lions Clubs of Mapusa and Assagao, contributed to the event’s resounding success by donating blood. The camp was graced by the presence of Region Chairperson MJF Lion Murtaza Matheranwala, who made his official visit to the club memorable by actively participating and donating blood, inspiring others with his commitment to the cause. Club President MJF Lion Shreya Naik extended a warm welcome to the doctors, teachers, donors, headmaster, and staff of Assagao Union High School, expressing gratitude for their support and for providing the school premises to host this impactful activity. The collective efforts of the donors, organizers, and school staff made the blood donation camp a remarkable success, reflecting the spirit of community service and unity. The Lions Club of Mapusa and Assagao Association extend their heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to this life-saving initiative.

Blood donation camp program
Today(23.08.25 at 11 am) Lions Club of jamkhandi participated in a blood donation camp program held at Om Shanti premises (Vijayapura Road, near Basaveshwar Circle). In this program voluntarily 3 units Lion members donated their blood and around 300 units non lion members donated their blood.
