As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ATTENDED THE LCIF WORKSHOP HELD AT BELGAUM ON 23RD AUGUST 2025. IT WAS LARGELY ATTENDED AND HAD THE PRENCE OF A NYMBER OF PDGs. DISTRICT GOVERNOR PMJF LION JAIAMOL NAIK WAS PRESENT ALONGWITH MJF DR. LION KIRTI NAIK, DCS, PMJF LION RAIES AHMED, RC LION MURTAZA MATHERANWALA AND OTHER DIGNITARIES.

Board of Directors meeting(BOD- 24/08/2025) - World Photography Day celebration and felicitation program & Krantiveer Rajguru's birth anniversary celebrated.
Lions Club of Jamkhandi on 24/08/2025 at 9.30 am, the August Board of Directors meeting has been organized at SRA club. This Board of Directors meeting has been organized by Ln. Dr. Manjunath Malgan In this meeting was as per following agenda 1. World Photography Day celebration and felicitation program. 2. Krantiveer Rajguru's birth anniversary celebrated. The topics to be are discussed in this meeting are as follows 1) Regarding the celebration of Teachers and Engineers' Day in the month of September. 2) Regarding the lecture program (by Mrs. Chetan Itti) as part of Women's Equality Day. 3) Regarding the Parents' Foot Worship Program as part of Sadbhavana Day. 4) Regarding organizing a bank training workshop. 5) Regarding organizing a Vedic Mathematics and Ashubhasana (pick and speak) program. 6) Regarding organizing an awareness program on organ donation. 7) New member Siddharaju Shekhar Shivpur (TMC) – Regarding making him a member of the Lions Club Jamkhandi.

Patriotic programmes for youth and children's
Lions club Gangavathi conducted patriotic programme in association with lions School and college for 8 days in the eve of international youth day and Independent day celebration. Seven working days seven teacher took lecture on different subjects about patriotic and nation building .

Lions club Gangavathi conducted vanamahostava ,tree plantation in association with trekking team Gangavathi. Lions club members Ln.Dr.Devaraj , Ln.suresh ,Ln.Guruprasad,Ln.Shivappa Gali, lions club president Dr.Shivakumar Malipatil and others lions and trekking members basavaraj magalamani,prahlad kulkarni participated and planted trees in Nehru garden Gangavathi.
