As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

As a Zone Chairperson I was felicitated by Dr. Celso of Nave Marg for organizing a vision screen camp for the primary students of Government school where three club of the zone also participated Lions Club of Vasco, Lons Club of Mormugao and Lions club of Chicalim Bogmalo.

As a Zone Chairperson of zone I Region II paid my official visit to lions club of Morugao on 13 September 2025. Maximum members were present for the visit. I advised the club on various topics like reporting on time, adding new members to the club specially women members and its benefits and to pay the fees on time.

Free eye check up Camp Poinginim on 13 September 2025
Lions Club of Canacona in association with Village Panchayat Poingin and Shashwat Sports and Cultural Club Poingin in collaboration with Matoshri Seva Trust Mumbai organised a free eye check-up camp at Disaster Management Shelter Mahawada Poingin Canacona on 13 September 2025. For inaugural function Hon. Sarpanch Mrs. Savita Tawadkar, and Deputy Sarpanch Shri Sunil Poinginkar and other Panch Members Shri Satish Poinginkar, Shri Pravir Bhandari along with president and other members of Shashwat Sports and Cultural Club and Members of Lions Club were present. The Camp was inaugurated by lighting a Samayee at the hands of Sarpanch and other dignitaries. During the Camp more than 250 needy people were benefited to have sight checking and they were provided with free spectacles. Camp was conducted from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm almost for 8 hours. More than 250 people benefited. More than â‚ą24,000/- valued spacts were distributed to the needy people. For success of this Camp Deputy Sarpanch Shri Sunil Poinginkar along with other Panch Members and members of Shashwat Sports and Cultural Club took much effort. *The Camp was a grand success even beyond expectations.

Little star eye screening camp.
little star eye screening camp was held for the students of Immaculate conception high school at Avedem Paroda Goa on 13th September 2025 from 9 am onwards. 108 students were examined . 48 students were found with defective vision were referred for further treatment.

the club BOD / GB was held on 7th September 2025, at Gudi Paroda Goa. Monthly activities were planned. it was decided to have ZC visit on 14/09/2025 at 5:30 pm. all the members will visit old age home along with ZC and present essential material /things to the old age home.
