As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

FREE EYE CHECK UP FOR CATARACT AND OPERATION CAMP WAS CONDUCTED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK IN ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL BODIES OF SUNSDHOLI VILLAGE AT SUNADHOLI VILLAGE ON 24.08.2025.ABOUT 205 PATIENTS WERE CHECKED UP AND 17 ELIGIBLE PATIENTS WERE SELECTED FOR CATRACT OPERATION AND SENT TO LION EYENAB HOSPITAL SANGLI,MAHARASHTRA,MJF LION DR.ASHOK MURGOD,LION SECRETARY H B PATIL,IPP LION DR,ASHOK S PATIL,COORDINATOR LION SHANKAR DODAMANI,LION KRISHNASHARMA H PATIL,LION BASAVARAJ MALI AND MANY LION MEMBERS AND LOCAL LEADERS WERE PRESENT.THE CAMP WAS INAUGURATED BY HIS HOLINESS SHRI SHIVANAND MAHASWAMY OF SUNADHOLI MATH.

Induction cum Installation for 2025-26 coupled with Friendship day celebration and saplings giving
14th Installation Ceremony of the Lions Club of Margao Saheli for the Lionistic Year 2025–2026 was held with great enthusiasm. The event began with a warm welcome and escorting of dignitaries, including Installation Officer MJF Lion Sameer Surlekar, Region Chairperson, and Zone Chairperson. The meeting was called to order, followed by a flag salutation and a moment of silence for world peace.Outgoing President Lion Rama Mheta delivered a heartfelt welcome, and the Secretary presented the annual report highlighting the club’s achievements for 2024–2025. The Installation Officer then formally installed the new Board of Directors.Incoming President Lion Sadhavi was introduced and shared her inspiring vision for the year in her acceptance speech. A memento was presented to the Installation Officer, and dignitaries were felicitated. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, the National Anthem, and adjournment by the new President.The celebration continued with joyful Friendship Day activities, including cake cutting, friendship band exchange, chocolate distribution, and refreshments—making the event both meaningful and memorable.
