As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Application regarding reconstruction of lions bus shelter
Lions Club of jamkhandi on 20.08.2025 submitted an application regarding reconstruction of lions bus shelter at GLBC cross,kudchi road, jamkhandi. It was demolished at the time of road winding by PWD jamkhandi. A request letter was submitted to the following departments, since there is urgent need of bus shelter, 1. PWD office jamkhandi . 2. MLA of jamkhandi . 3. Assistant commissioner jamkhandi. 4. District commissioner Bagalkot.

As a Zone Chairperson of zone I Region II paid my official visit to lions club of Chicalim Bogmalo on 20 August 2025. Maximum members were present for the visit. I advised the club on various topics like reporting on time, adding new members to the club specially women members and its benefits and to pay the fees on time.

1st Zone Advisory – Zone II Region I On 20 August 2025 Hosted by Lions Club of Chicalim Bogmalo All 4 Clubs – Chicalim Bogmalo, Vasco Da Gama, Ponda Midtown & Mormugao – came together with their office bearers sharing club updates, goals & future plans. While the President of lions club of Mid town Ponda send a leave of absence for not being able to attend the Zone advisory meeting. MJF Lion Goculdas Nagvenkar attended the Tree Plantation Activity of the LC Mapuca along with 4 other members at Assagao. The activity was in collaboration with Assagao Communidade .

District Governor MJF Lion Jai Amol Nayak and cabinet secretary Dr. Kirthi visited Maski and joined hands in planting 50 trees at several places including temples. RC Dr. Mallikarjun Ithli, DC Dr. Divatar, DC Shivaraj Ithli and other senior members were present during this event.
