As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Workshop on Banking Services Under ZC Visit

Today (11.09.2025) Lions Club of Jamkhandi in collaboration with the Government first grade college (Hunnur) and Canara Bank (Hunnur branch) conducted a workshop on Banking Services at Canara Bank Hunnur This program was inaugurated by param pujya Anand devro Swamiji, and explained about how important is banking service required for all. This program's Chief guest Dr. Kaling Golasangi (Principle of Govt. First Grade College Hunnur) explained to students regarding Practical Importance of all banking services to gain knowledge. This program smoothly runs under the president of Parshuram Kuri (Manager Canara Bank, Hunnur branch) explaining that banking knowledge is mandatory for everyone nowadays and 18 and above all students should have their personal bank account do utilise government schemes and scholarship by direct transfer into their account. In this program our Lions Club president Ln.Dr. M. P Tanappagol explained about Lions Club service Activities. In this program Ln.MJF.Dr. H G Daddi explained about the rising of Lions club, Lions Club Moto. In this program our Region Chairperson ( Ln MJF Dr. Ramesh Shettar) explained that it's a good service activity so all students should get benefit as much as possible. This banking service will be executed for 5 students everyday around 1.5 Months helping all illiterate people's visiting Bank.

ZCs OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE LIONS CLUB OF ANJUNA ALONG WITH THE RCs VISIT & A TWINING ACTIVITY WITH THE LEO CLUB OF CALANGUTE. THE LIONS CLUB OF ANJUNA COMBINED IT WITH THE VISIT TO THE HOME FOR THE AGED AT ASSAGAO.

THE DELAY OF THE ZONE CHAIRPERSONS VISIT TO THE ANJUNA CLUB, WAS ON ACCOUNT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CLUB, LION JULIAN MEETING WITH AN ACCIDENT AND REMAINING INDISPOSED. THE VISIT WAS CONDUCTED IN HIS ABSENCE, BUT ALONG WITH THE OTHER PST MEMBERS OF THE CLUB. ZC LION MURTAZA ALSO HAD HIS FORMAL VISIT DONE. BESIDES A TWINING ACTIVITY WITH LEO CLUB OF CALANGUTE WAS CONDUCTED. A HUGE STACK OF RATIONS & CONSUMABLES WERE DONATED TO THE HOME BY THE LIONS CLUBS OF ANJUNA & LEO CLUB OF CALANGUTE.

46TH CHARTER NITE OF LIONS CLUB OF CANDOLIM

THE LIONS CLUB OF CANDOLIM ORGANISED THEIR 46TH CHARTER NITE & THE OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR ON 3RD SEPTEMBER, 2025 AT THE TAJ FORT AGUADA, SINQUERIM. IT WAS A WELL ORGANISED FUNCTION. THE HIGHLIGHT WAS THE SECRETARYS REPORT (ROMANA CRASTO FERNANDES) AND THE WONDERFUL ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED IN JUST 2 MONTHS.

General Body Meeting for the month of Sep 10-09-2025 (1st)

GBM on 10.9.25, The topics dicussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding Engineers Day Celebration (15.09.25). 2) Regarding Workshop on Banking Service - 11.09.25. 3) Regarding Free Health Checkup Camp and Surgery (Sahayoga MRN foundation). 4) Regarding attending the DLLI program in Hubli (13 & 14.09.2025). 5) Regarding Attending a second cabinet meeting in Thailand. 6) Regarding making Llions Jacket to wear for service activities. 7) Regarding the Childhood Cancer Awareness Program. 8) Regarding RC visit to our jamkhandi Lions Club on 11 September. 9) Annadasahoha program for the month of September (Govt hospital). 10) Other topics to be discussed as per the order of the President.
