Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Asolessence Awareness For Girls & Free Distribution of Notebooks and Sanitary Napkins
The Lions club of Dharwad had organized the "Adolescence awareness for girls on 23rd August 2025 at Govt. Model Practical Higher Primary School, TCW, Near Jubliee Circle, Dharwad. Dr Sharayu Tavarageri, International Programme in counselling & Guidance; PGD - Behavior Sciences, addressed the girl students on physical, mental and social changes during adolescence and how to protect and take care themselves. 85 girl students were benefitted by the programme. 8 Lion members and 8 Non Lion members were attended. The Lions Club of Dharwad had organized the Free Distribution of Sanitary napkins and notebooks on 23rd August 2025 at Govt Model Higher Primary Practical school, TCW, Dharwad. 85 students were benefitted. 8 Lion Members and 8 Non-Lion members were attended.

Malaria (Mosquito) Eradication drive
Lions and Leo Club of Aldona conducted a Malaria/mosquito eradication Drive at Moira health centre in partnership with PHC Aldona NOTE; LIONS BANNER WAS NOT PUT UP AS IT WAS USED FOR VISION SCREENING AT ST BRITTO SCHOOL SAME DAY.
