As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Blood Donation Camp
On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, the Lions club of Candolim partnered with Taj holiday Village Resort and Spa and Taj Fort Aguada Resort and Spa to organize a Blood Donation Camp. A total of 30 units of blood were collected with the help of doctors and staff of Goa Medical College. The club was presented an appreciation certificate by the Goa Medical college for organizing the Blood donation Camp.

Lions club of Candolim celebrated Independence Day
The Lions Club of Candolim celebrated Independence Day at Government Primary School Orda and Govt Primary School, Dando, the students were given chocolates and refreshments at both schools. The members also joined the Village panchayat of Candolim for the Independence Day Celebrations.

Distribution of scholarships to needy students.
The Lions club of Candolim distributed 17 scholarships to deserving students of Candolim and Pilerne at the hands of the Zone Chairperson Lion Venkatesh Babladi during his Mandatory visit to the Club. All the scholarships were sponsored by the members of the Lions club of Candolim.
