As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

MEETING WITH DISTRICT GOVERNOT AT DISTRICT OFFICE TO DISCUSS ACTIVITY REPORTING GOALS OF THE DIST-317B
A meeting with District Governor PMJF Lion jaiamol Naik held on 26 August 2025 at District Officer, Vasco. The matter relating to the reporting of activities on District Portal and International Portal discussed. The necessary guidelines received from District Governor on the subject matter. Accordingly, the DG message was posted on the "Empower IT Team 2025-26 Group" for pushing up the district 317-B agenda for achieving the necessary targets.

LIVE ZOOM VC TRAINING CONDUCTED BY THE TEAM IT FOR LIONS CLUBS UNDER DISTRICT 317-B
Zoom VC training on "How to report activities on Lions Portal and District Portal" was conducted by the DC- IT Support Lion Shivprasad Kyathnatty on 7th August 2025. The training was attended by me as RDC - IT and provided necessary online guidance to the "DC-IT Support" as well helped in resolving the IT related querry asked by the participant clubs.

MEMBERSHIP ERROR ON LIONS PORTAL SERVER REPORTED BY LION PRANEETA KARPE, SECRETARY OF LC KAKODA
Membership error reported by Lion Praneeta Karpe saying that her membership is showing invalid on lions portal. However, when cross examined by me found she is an active member of the LC Kakoda as displayed Lions Portal, but at the same time Lions Portal denying her membership when tried updating her designation as Secretary. This matter was taken up with the International office for error rectification on 11 Aug 2025. Accordingly, Internationa Lions Office has addressed the issue in a weeks time.

RESOLVED ISSUE REGARDING DUPLICATE MEMBERSHIP NUMBER ON LIONS PORTAL
Lion Shakuntala Raut Dessai, President of Lions Club of Avedem Paroda reported an issue that she is not allowed to log in International Portal due to erroneous dual membership ID reflected on Lion Portal. This issue was taken up with Lion International and provided necessary support to the Lion Shakuntala Dessai in resolving the membership error.

ANNADASOHA ACTIVITY WAS CARRIED OUT BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 31.08.2025 AT APMC COLONY GOKAK.AROUND 300 NEEDY PEOPLE WERE SERVED NUTRITIOUS FOOD BETWEEN 12PM TO 3PM.LION PRESIDENT SHRISHAIL HANJI,SECRETARY LION H B PATIL,LION DR ASHOK MURGOD,LION ASHOK PATIL,LION SHANKAR DODAMANI,LION SURESH SHINDIHATTI,LION MAHESH KOUJALAGI AND OTHER LIONS WERE PRESENT.

Workshop on Banking services for B.A and B Com final year students at Canara Bank(Hunnur) for 30 to 45 days.
As we are going to conduct Workshop on Banking services for B.A and B Com final year students at Canara Bank(Hunnur) for 30 to 45 days. Today we conducted a pre-training program for Final year students about banking transactions / services in Government First Grade Degree College (Hunnur at 11:00 a.m) Training was given by Dr. Ln. M.P. Tanappagol and Ln. Er. Anand Chougale.(President and Secretary of Lions club, jamkhandi) about 110 students attend this pre-training program.
