As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Blood Donation Camp
Triumphant Blood Donation Camp Unites Community in Assagao. The Assagao Association, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Mapusa and Lions Club of Assagao, proudly organized a highly successful blood donation camp at Assagao Union High School, Assagao, embodying the spirit of community service and compassion. The event saw an impressive turnout of 44 generous donors, including teachers, parents, former students, and members of the Lions Clubs of Mapusa and Assagao, all coming together to contribute to this life-saving cause. The camp was honored by the presence of Region Chairperson MJF Lion Murtaza Matheranwala, whose official visit was made truly memorable by his inspiring act of donating blood. His dedication motivated others, setting a powerful example of leadership and commitment to social good. Club President MJF Lion Shreya Naik warmly welcomed the doctors, teachers, donors, headmaster, and staff of Assagao Union High School, expressing deep gratitude for their invaluable support and for graciously providing the school premises for this meaningful initiative. The collective efforts of the donors, organizers, and school staff ensured the camp’s resounding success, reflecting the strength of unity and the shared commitment to serving humanity. The Assagao Association and Lions Club of Mapusa extend their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to this impactful event, making a tangible difference in saving lives.
