As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Help to Flood victims of Sharavati river in Honavar Taluka
Due to the combined effect of heavy rain and release of water from Linganamakki Dam, there is a heavy flood in Sharavati river. The people residing on both sides of river bank are very much affected by this flood. Water is rushing in the residential area and also their houses. 15 Flood Care Centres have been opened in surrounding Government primary and secondary schools. On 29-08-2025 from 9 am to 4 pm we, PST, RC, 2 DCs and members all together 12 members of our Club along with local Gramapanchayat President & members visited 3 Flood Care Centres at Saralagi, Mavinahole & Allanki rural villages. 60 Grocery Kits each worth Rs 1000/- have been distributed and 140 flood victims of 60 families have been benefited. Total expenses: Rs 60,000/-.

Official Visit of the ZC to the club
ZC MJF Lion Shaila Kargudri officially visited our club and given advice on maintaining the club activities. Paper bag making workshop was conducted for the members of the club as well as non lions on the occasion.
