As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

The Region meet 2026 was hosted by Lions club of Margao Ravanfond at MCC Karwarkar hall,Margao wherein our club members participated in the banner presentation as well as were a part of the committee.

Eye check up camp at Dr.Sielda’s clinic
An eye checkup camp was held at Dr. Sielda’s eye clinic wherein the students from Ravindra Kelekar DnyanMandir school were asked to visit the clinic for further diagnosis and confirm the requirement of spectacles.

Cancer awareness program
On 25/2/26, Cancer awareness program was very successfully conducted, by leading Oncologist Surgeon Dr. B R Patil from KSCTRI Navanagar Hubli. Members had a very good interactive session with Dr. BR Patil.

Dental & General Health Check up
On 22/2/26 the Dental & General Health check up was conducted for Auto Rickshaw Drivers at Sheela Koppikar Bal Vidya Mandir, More than 42 Auto Drivers underwent the check up. SDM Medical Hospital Doctors team conducted the Medical examination along with our Lions Club Doctors.

Paediatric Cancer Donation
On 18/2/26, we visited Cancer Hospital Navanagar Hubli at 12 noon, and presented cheque worth Rs.30000 to three Cancer affected Children ( Each Rs.10000). Their names are as follows, 1) Pavitra Chigari, 2) Aaradhya Kulapegoudar 3) Sambrin Malagli. The fund were donated by Shri manoj Laxmeshwar & MJF Lion Aarati Kamalapur. Dr. BR Patil appreciated this Humanitarian activity.
