As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Monthly BOD meeting in guidance of senior members , we have discussed about fund raising for eye hospital and activities of 2025 26 . PST ,Senior members of the club PJMF Ln.Madhav shetty , Ln.Dr.somaraju ,Ln.Dr.Chandrappa,Ln.F.H.Chitragar,Ln.Rajashekar Heroor and other members were present.

Installation new BOD for the year 2025-26
Lions Club of Canacona New B.O.D for the year 2025-26 Installation Ceremony was held on 27/07/2025, at Lions Club House xeller Canacona at about 5.30p.m. The Chief Guest was Shri Arun Bhat The Installation Officer was 2nd VDG MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar given oath to all elected members, and Lion Pankaj Gaounkar as Prasident, Lion Ulhas Phal Dessai as Secretary and Lion Dilkush Shet as Treasurer. Also inducted 1 new Member. Zone Chairperson Zone I Region 12 Lion Gaurish Vernekar was present for the function. Lions Club of Canacona felicited meritorious student of Canacona Taluka.
