As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Making an Impact, One Activity at a Time!
OUTING WITH SENIOR CITIZENS
Observing District activity for May 2026, that is, support to Senior Citizens. "Lions Club of Chodan" jointly with "Chorao Lions Trust" organized a full day outing for 35 local Senior Citizens from 9AM to 5PM at "Nature Inn", Nanora, Goa. Swimming, variety of games with prizes, singing and dancing was the packed entertainment for the participants. Variety of snacks made by Senior citizens themselves were shared amoung them followed by Lunch hosted by " Chorao Lions Trust".

Multiple 317 had arranged For District Leo Co-Ordinartors training session on 24th May 2026 in Bengaluru where all eight District Leo Coordinators attended the session which was conducted by PDG Deepak Suman. I being the designated Leo Coordinator for year 2026-27 attended the session

Medical help was also given to the needy person at Old Goa on 25th May 2026
Medical help was also given to the needy person at Old Goa on 25th May 2026. Lion President Daniel Gonsalves has graciously informed her that Medicial help would be given to her for a year. Lion President Daniel Gonsalves. Secretary Lion Adv Purushottam Karpe,Treasurer Lion Dilip Borkar,MJF Lion Sunil Mevada and Lion Pradeep Vernekar were present during the activity.
