As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Purchased new Bus for Lions School
Lions charitable trust Gangavathi purchased Bus for Lions School for academic year of 2026-27. 22 Lakhs worth Bus purchased by lions trust to help students by providing bus facility. Lions trust President Dr.Chandrappa , Secretary Dr.JambunathGouda ,treasurer Ln.teakamdas ,Lions club President Dr.Shivakumar Malipatil, Secretary Jambanna Ayli ,treasurer Shivappa Gali , School Administrator Chandregouda, School Head masters Jagannath and Gurupadayya ,and all teachers were participated in Bus pooja event held in front of School.

MILESTONE CHEVROPN AWARD FOR 10 YEARS SERVICE RECOGNITION
I MJF LION GOCULDAS NAGVENKAR WAS AWARDED WITH THE "MILESTONE CHEVRON PIN AWARD" FOR COMPLETING 10 YEARS AS A LION TO COMMEMORATE AND RECOGNIZE MY YEARS OF SERVICE. I AM HONOURED BY LIONS INTERNATIONAL. IT WAS A PROUD MOMENT FOR ME. THE CETIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY LION A.P.SINGH, INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT 2025-2026. I AM REPORTING THIS ACTIVITY TODAY AS MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES NOT ACCEPTED ON SAME DATES. IT WAS AWARDED TO ME ON 4TH APRIL, 2026 ON OUR CHARTER NITE DAY , PRESENTED BY DISTRICT GOVERNOR ( DISTRICT 317B) PMJF LION jAI AMOL NAIK. IT WAS ALSO SKIPPED FROM MYSIDE. HENCE I AM REPORTING IT TODAY.

The All Goa Konkani elocution competition 2026
The all Goa Konkani elocution was conducted in Ravindra Bhavan ,Margao. Participants from all over Goa came for this event. A total of 40 schools participated and a total of 80 contestants per present. For this event. We had three winners and seven constellation prize winners. The student spoke very well on the selected topics which are given to them and made this event a successful one.

Multiple Convention
In all 9 members of our Club participated/registered for the 17th Multiple District Convention held at Bengaluru. Registered Delegates are 1) Ln. Hemant Kittur 2) Ln. Ashok Katwe 3) Ln. Shridhar Uppin 4) Ln. Geeta Kittur 5) Ln. Bharati Vadavi 6) Ln. Sheetal Bogar 7) Ln. Rajshekhar Hiremath 8) Ln. Shashilata Hiremath 9) Mjf Ln. Shrinivas Shivangi Our members attended the Schooling for DCS, DCT etc. Our club also bagged the Best Club, Best Secretary & Runner-up in Cricket for lionistic year 24-25.

Zone level activity
On 27-05-2026 we honoured a student Samvith.Amit.Gokarna who got 3rd rank in the state in 2nd PUC Exam . We gave them cash prize and honoured him. RC,GST,GLT,RDC,DC,PST and members were present.

On 27-05-2026 we honoured 6 life guards in our zone social program for saving many lives in the beaches and it made a large publicity of lions club in the town for honouring them, we gave them cash and a certificate of appreciation . RC,GST,GLT ,RDC,DC,PST’s and members of all the four clubs were present.

Zone social of zone II Region XII was conducted on 27-05-2026 inn Aishwarya Homestay Gokarna. 63 members from all the four clubs were present PDG Ln.G N Nayak, RC MJF Ln.Rajesh Salehittal, GLT MJF Ln. Ashok Hegde, GST MJF Ln.Aishwarya Masurkar, DC Ln.Preetam Masurkar, RDC Ln.R H Nayak, Honnavar club PST and members and zone club PST,members and their family were present. And made it a grand success.
