As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Free Eye Screening and Operations
A Free Eye Screening Camp was conducted at Hukerimath, where a total of 248 patients underwent eye check-up screening. Among them, 105 patients were identified and selected for eye operations. Out of the selected patients, 56 were sent to Shankar Eye Hospital on 23rd May 2026 for treatment and surgery, while the remaining 49 patients will be sent on 24th May 2026 for further eye operation procedures.

Special Meeting
The club held a special meeting to align on upcoming 2026‑27 PST positions, ensuring readiness and continuity. Members reviewed leadership responsibilities, shared suggestions for smooth administration, and emphasized continuity of service. The session ensured preparedness and collective alignment for the new Lions year.

Clubs Annadasoh (44th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice. pulao. It was sponsored by Lions Club of Belgaum.
