As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

17th Multiple District Convention
Two members from our club attended the 17th Multiple District Convention on 23rd May 2026 and 24th May 2026. Our club also received the "Best Club" Award in the multiple.

Annadasoh
Clubs Annadasoh (45th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice. pulao. It was sponsored by Lions Club of Belgaum.

INAUGERATION LIFE SAVER PROJECT MOTOR BIKE AMBULANCE
I, MJF LION GOCULDAS NAGVENKAR ATTENDED THE FUNCTION ORGANIZED BY LIONS CLUB OF ALDONA ALONG WITH PROJECT ASSOCIATED CLUBS. IT WAS AN INAUGERATION OF "LIFE SAVER PROJECT& DONATION OF MOTOE BIKE AMBULANCE" TO THE PEOPLE OF ALDONA AND AROUND. TEN SUCH BIKE AMBULANCES WILL BE DONATED BY LIONS CLUBS IN NEXT THREE TO FOUR YEARS BY TEN DIFFERENT CLUBS. LIONS CLUB OF MAPUCA WILL BE ONE AMONGST THOSE CLUBS.

IT WAS LARGLY ATTENDED BY BY ALL THE REGION CLUBS ALONG WITH MANY OTHER MEMBERS OF OTHER CLUBS , PGD'S, MULTIPLE 317 MEMBERS & ALSO PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR PMJF LION KRISHNA REDDY. VERY WELL ORGANIZED. "CHIEF & KEY NOTE SPEAKER WAS DR. SHARAd KALE, PADMASHREE AWARDEE ,EX BARC SCIEBTIST AND ENVIRONMENTALIST".

VISION
Today's Eye checkup camp at our lions medical center Dr Ketaki Phadke and Vadiraj Katti from MMJE hospital examined 25 beneficiaries out of which 14 beneficiaries were reffered for cataract operations. RBS and BP checkup was done by Lion Niloba Malawade Sir to 14 beneficiaries. 👍👍WE SERVE. 🙏🙏🙏

The second general meeting of the month of May
The second general meeting of the month of May has been held today, Wednesday, 27-05-2026 at 7-28 pm at SRA Club Jamkhandi. The topics to be discussed in the meeting are as follows. 1) Regarding the recovery of outstanding contributions for the year 2025-26. 2) Regarding the celebration of No Tobacco Day on 31-05-26. 3) Regarding the selection of 10 people in D.C. for the year 2026-27 - Regarding the submission of the consent report. 4) Regarding the selection of the remaining office bearers after the selection of PST for the year 2026-27. 5) Regarding, Focus area - June 2026 Diabetes, vision, environment and WE day June- 5 Yoga.
