As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Annadasoh
Clubs Annadasoh (48th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice. pulao. It was sponsored by Lions Club of Belgaum.

Blood Donation and Diabetic camo
The Lions Club of Canacona, IN Collaboration with My Bharat and Yuva Canacona on 06th June 2026, at 10.00 am at Disaster Management Hall, Charrasta Nagarcem Canacona Goa. The camp received an over welcoming response from the Community. Total Register donors was 47 and 30 donors successfully donated blood. Health screening by Dr. Shradha Pawaskar conducted free diabetic and Blood pressure for all 47 participant. Total 15 Lions members was present for the programme spending 3 hrs. and Rs. 15000/- to success this programme.

A GENERAL BODY MEETING WAS CONDUCTED BY THE CLUB ON 13.06.2026 DURING 8PM TO 10.30PM.LION DR ASHOK MURGOD WAS FELICITATED FOR HIS ASSUMING PMJF.THE NEW OFFICE BEARERS ELECT FOR THE YEAR 2026-27 WERE FORMALLY WELCOMED.THE DATE OF THE INSTALLATION AND THE PREPARATIONS WERE DISCUSSED.

A BOD MEETENG OF THE CLUB WAS CONDUCTED ON 10.06.2026 TO REVIEW THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUB DURING THE LIONISTIC YEAR.THE MEETING WAS PRESIDED BY LION SHRISHAIL HANJI.MANY LIONS WERE PRESENT.

EYE CHECKUP CAMP
A EYE CHECK UP CAMP WAS ARRANGED FOR KSRTC EMPLOYEES ON 05.06.2026 AT KSRTC DEPOT.126 EMPLOYEES WERE TESTED FOR EYE SIGHT .OUT OF THEM 8 PATIENTS WERE FOUND TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CATARACT OPERATION AND 22 WERE GIVEN FREE SPECTACALS.PRESIDENT SHRISHAIL HANJI,PMJF LION ASHOK MURGOD,AND MANY OTHERS TOOK PART IN THE CAMP.

A DIABETIC AND GENERAL HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP WAS ARRANGED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK DURING 8AM TO 1 PM ON 04,06,2026 AT KSRTC BUS DEPOT FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES.132 EMPLOYEES WERE EXAMINED AND AROUND 22 WERE REFERRED FOR FURTHER TREATMENT.PRESIDENT SHRISHAIL HANJI, PMJF DR ASHOK MURGOD,DEPOT MANAGER,AND MANY LION MEMBERS PARTICIPATED .

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY WAS CELEBRATED BY LIONS CLUB GOKAK ON 07.06.2026.TREES WERE PLANTED AT LAXMI GARDEN GOKAK ON THAT EVE.PRESIDENT LION SHRISHAIL HANJI, LION DODAMANI,LION ASHOK DAYANNAVAR ,PMJF LION DR ASHOK MURGOD AND MANY LIONS PARTICIPATED IN THE ACTIVITY.

PST SCHOOLING and RC/ZC/GAT WORKSHOP
PST Schooling and RC/ZC/GAT Workshop for the Lions Year 2026–2027 was successfully conducted. Five members from the Lions Club of Haveri attended the event and actively participated in the training sessions. The workshop provided valuable insights into leadership, club administration, membership development, and service activities. The participants received useful training and guidance that will help them effectively carry out their responsibilities during the upcoming Lions year.

World Environmental Day
On the occasion of World Environment Day, a tree plantation drive was organized at Lions English Medium School. A total of 30 saplings were planted across the school campus. Around 123 participants, including Lions Club members, school staff, and students, took part in the event. The students enthusiastically planted saplings alongside the Lions members, promoting environmental awareness and emphasizing the importance of preserving a green and healthy environment for future generations.
