As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Inaugurated Yoga programme at Dyana Mandira Manvi morning 5.30 to 6.30 for male youths and evening. 6.00 to 7.00. Pm for female youths

A special meeting of the Board of Directors has been called at 7 pm on Friday, 18-06-2026, at Rama Niwas Observation Hall. The preparations for the handover ceremony on Sunday, 28th of this month will be discussed.

Saksham Learning Hub organized on 1st & 2nd July 2026.
Lions Club of Canacona with collaboration of Saksham Learning Hub organized 2 days learning discovery camp at Lions Club House, Xeller on 1st & 2nd July 2026. At morning 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. • The main aim was to understand your child’s potential in academic learning. * • Discover interest and dominance areas that need support. * • Focused activities to strengthen language & Math skills. • Engaging, fun, interactive session that build confidence & curiosity. Total 5 Lions members spend Rs. 10000/- and 3 hours to success this programme.

VISION
Today being Thursday weekly Eyes checkup camp at our Lions Medical Center Dr Ashish R Singh from MMJE hospital examined 41 beneficiaries out of which 16 beneficiaries were reffered for cataract operations. RBS and BP checkup was done by Vivek Laxmeshwar to 17 beneficiaries. We thank our Club President Lion Prabhu Ullagaddimath Sir for having assisted me in today's camp. 👍👍WE SERVE. 🙏🙏
