As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Attended special Meeting LC Panjim Greater
Meeting was called by President Ln Samil Volvoikar of Panjim Greater along with secratry treasuer, IPP and Guiding Lion MJF ln Sunil and Clud Administror at Swarnam on 29th July at 7 pm . Training session of logins to line portal and district website was conducted by Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Daniel S Kurian and first time activities were reported and memebers were also added who were inducted during BOD Installation. Overall it was very fruitful Meeting and knowledge and support was given with respect to reporting and planning activities for the club which is just two years old .

61st BOD Installation ceremony
Mapuca, June 2025 – The Lions Club of Mapuca celebrated a significant milestone with the installation of its 61st President, MJF Lion Shreya Naik, during a grand ceremony held at Dev Bodgeshwar Sansthan Hall. The event marked the induction of the new Board of Directors (BOD) for the Lionistic Year 2025-26, ushering in a new chapter of community service and leadership.The installation was officiated by MJF Lion Sameer Surlakar, who formally inducted the new BOD. The ceremony was graced by District Governor Elect PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik as the Chief Guest, adding prominence to the occasion. Other notable dignitaries included Region Chairperson Lion Rohan Savaikar, Zone Chairperson Lion Silviya Fernandes, District Cabinet LCIF Coordinator PMJF Lion Raies Ahmed Hakim, and Lion Agnelo Da Silva, all of whom extended their congratulations to the club for its vibrant start to the new term.Outgoing Club President MJF Lion Shreedhar Naik addressed the gathering, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the support that made the club’s Diamond Jubilee year a resounding success. Reflecting on his tenure, he highlighted the collective efforts that strengthened the club’s legacy of service.MJF Lion Shreya Naik, in her acceptance speech, expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to leading the club. She outlined her vision for the year ahead, emphasizing continued service to the community. Dr. Kirti Naik felicitated the new president, marking the formal transition of leadership.In a gesture of compassion, President MJF Lion Shreya Naik donated a wheelchair to a needy woman, reaffirming the club’s dedication to uplifting those in need. Additionally, the ceremony included a felicitation of SSC toppers from Assagao Union High School, recognizing academic excellence and inspiring the youth of the community.The event was a testament to the Lions Club of Mapuca’s enduring commitment to service, leadership, and community welfare, setting an inspiring tone for the year ahead under MJF Lion Shreya Naik’s leadership.
