As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH SENIOR CITIZENS.
Independence Day 2025 was celebrated by "JOYFUL HEARTS". Our Senior Citizens cut the 79th Independence Day cake followed by Sing-song; Quiz competition & Royal breakfast. Quiz competition was arranged by Lions and Prizes ware given. President of Lions Club of Chodan Lion Manoj Mahale addressed the members and assured the Senior Citizens of many more worthy activities. DONATION OF SEWING MACHINE TO SENIOR CITIZEN
President Lion Manoj Mahale of Lions Club of Chodan seen presenting Sewing Machine to our "Chorao Senior Citizens Cell". The machine is sponsored by President and Members of "Lions Club of Mapusa Elite" on 15th August 2025.

TWINNING ACTIVITY - donation of Provisions and Lunch for the inmates of Old Age Home.
Club twinning activity between Lions Club of Assagao; Lions Club of Mapusa Elite & Lions Club of Chodan on Independence Day 15th August 2025 at "Isha Prema Niketan Old Age Home" Assagao. Three clubs provided provisions for the inmates. Independence Day cake was cut. RC MJF Lion Murtaza & ZC Lion Richard Pinto graced the occasion. Various games and melody songs were sung for the entertainment of the inmates. In addition to the provisions, Snacks and Lunch was also hosted for the inmates. AWESOME event. Good participation.

Three of our Club members had the privilege of hoisting the flag at three different locations, that is Lion President Lion Manoj and The Chorao Village Panchayat, Bartolomew;s High School by First Vice President Lion Deepak and Treasurer Lion Vidhyanand Khandeparkar at the SPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA, Ponda, Goa.

Participated in Tiranga yatra organised by Helping Hands in association with Lions club of Chodan and Village Panchayat in the presence of Hon. MP Shri. Shripad Naik and Hon. MLA Shri. Premendra Shet who spoke on Independence Day.
