As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

TWINNING ACTIVITY - GOOD USED CLOTHES DONATION.
"Lions Club of Mapusa Elite" organised a twining activity with Lions Club of Chodan, on the occasion, handing over huge quantity of "Good used clothes" for free distribution to the needy through "GOOD USED CLOTHES BANK" of Lions Club of Chodan.

PST with DC of Lions Club of Navelim Attended the Region Chairperson Region Get Together Hosted at Colva
PST with DC of Lions Club of Navelim Attended the REGION II GET- TOGETHER ā Region II get- together with a differenceā. was organized by RC Lion Dharmu Raut Dessai and hosted by LC Colva. President of LC Colva welcomed the gathering. RC gave brief idea about the program and the need to have a get together. RC declared the theme of region II ā ENJOY LIONISMā which was appreciated by all. VDG 2 MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar, gave PPT presentation on motivation, Growth and retention of lion members. Very interactive session, which was the need for members. Lion Sunil Kavlekar IT, updated everybody on Lions Portal and how to report under various categories and contest rules. He also briefed to make use of AI, to organize programs and prepare speeches for the functions. PMJF Lion Nitin Maganlal, spoke about his experiences in lionism and how he is enjoying lionism for the past over 40 years. PMJF Lion Sasidran Nair, gave a power point presentation on ā LIONS AS LEADRSā What a motivation. MJF Lion Dr. Chandrakant Hiremat, talked about āhow honestly lion members should work and enjoy lionism. President of LC Avedem Paroda and first lady of region II, presented mementos to all faculties. Lion Jezus DāCosta ZC II, made all arrangements in the hall. Lion Gaurish Vernekar, presented words of gratitude, beautifully in a poetic way. The āget together with a difference of region IIā was a grand success, inspite of heavy rains. Concluded with national anthem for fellowship n Dinner. Everyone enjoyed at the get together. ā Enjoy Lionismā at every program, every function and every activity we lions do. Big thanks to all present, both ZCāS and all members of Lions Club of Colva.

FARMING - A PRESENTATION
"Lions Club of Chodan", "Chorao Lions Trust" and "Chorao Senior Citizens Cell" organized a PowerPoint presentation on " Modern Farming" by the Senior BSc students of " Goa College of Agriculture" Old Goa on Saturday, 9th August 2025 at Lions Day Care Centre between 9:30AM to 11:30 AM. Excellent presentation by the students, good deliberations and interaction. Session was followed by Tea & snacks
