As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Food For Govt School Children
Sant Meera had hosted Chiguru Carnival, a sports and cultural competition for Govt School Children. Breakfast, Lunch and High Tea. In all 2800 students were served. MJF Lion Shridhar Uppin sponsored the entire feeding project. Project Cost ₹ 2,83,000/-.

Report on District Governor's Third Zone Advisory Meeting, CLLI, and Club Meeting Organized by Lions Club of Mapusa Date: Sunday, 8th February 2026 Venue: Heera Classic Hall, Mapusa, Goa Organized by: Lions Club of Mapusa Zone Chairperson: MJF Lion Sudesh Kochrekar The Lions Club of Mapusa successfully hosted a comprehensive program comprising the Club-level meeting, followed by the District Governor's Third Zone Advisory Meeting and a combined Club Lions Leadership Institute (CLLI) session. The events were held at Heera Classic Hall in Mapusa and provided an excellent platform for club officers and members to review performance, strengthen leadership skills, and plan enhanced service initiatives. Program Sequence Club-Level Meeting – Conducted by Lions Club of Mapusa to discuss internal matters and prepare for the zone-level sessions. Third Zone Advisory Meeting – Led by Zone Chairperson MJF Lion Sudesh Kochrekar, focusing on zone-wide coordination and progress review. Combined CLLI Session – A leadership and training activity held in conjunction with the advisory meeting. Participating Clubs The following Lions Clubs from the third zone attended the meeting and presented detailed activity reports: Lions Club of Mapusa Lions Club of Mapusa Elite Lions Club of Aldona Key Dignitaries and Resource Persons Resource Persons for CLLI: MJF Lion Sushant Pokle and MJF Lion Gokuldas Nagvenkar conducted the combined CLLI session, delivering valuable guidance on leadership, club management, and effective service project execution. Special Guest: MJF Lion Murtuza Matheranwala graced the occasion with his presence, inspiring the participants with his experience and encouragement. Highlights of Discussions Lion members from the attending clubs participated in highly productive and interactive discussions covering critical areas such as: Membership development and retention strategies Preparation and submission of accurate activity reports Ideas and ways to enhance and expand service activities for greater community impact Overall club performance improvement and collaborative opportunities within the zone These deliberations promoted knowledge sharing, mutual learning, and a renewed sense of purpose among the participants. Fellowship and Appreciation The fellowship dinner, which provided a warm and informal setting for networking and bonding, was graciously sponsored by Immediate Past President MJF Lion Shreedhar Naik. The program concluded on a positive note with a sincere vote of thanks presented by Lion Rajesh Kochrekar, who expressed appreciation to the Zone Chairperson, resource persons, special guest, sponsoring dignitary, participating clubs, and all members for their valuable contributions and active involvement. This well-organized event reflected the strong spirit of service, teamwork, and commitment to Lions' ideals within the third zone. It has undoubtedly strengthened inter-club coordination and set a positive tone for impactful service activities in the months ahead. Date: 9th February 2026
