As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Eye donation awareness rally
On 25th August, our Club participated in the Hubli Lions Joint Service Activity, by joining in the EYE Donation Awareness Rally, organised in Collaboration with Dr.M M Joshi Eye Institute , KCM-RI,and other organisations.

Weekly Eye Checkup at Candolim Eye Clinic
Under our Mission Vision Candolim, 32 patients were screened at our weekly Candolim eye Clinic. 5 Cataracts, 2 Retinal disorders, 5 blood Reports and 4 Follow .up were diagnosed. Retinal patients have been referred to the hospital.

Fire Safety Mock Drill
The Lions Club of Candolim partnered with the Village panchayat of Candolim and the Department of Fire Services to conduct a Fire Safety Mock Drill on the Eve of Ganesh Chaturthi at the Candolim Tinto to educate the shopkeepers and people living around the Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandal as a precautionary measure. A talk was given to the general public by the Fire service Personnel and later a practical demonstration on the usage of fire extinguishers was also given.

Namaste Lions, Eye donation fortnight rally. congratulations lion dr. krishna prasad sir, team of esteemed doctors and staff of MM Joshi eye institute and hospital for successful oragnised event. IPDG PMJF Lion manoj manek sir, RC PMJF Ln Dyanesh natu ji, Mjf ln uday bhadakar sir, mjf mukund ambekar sir, ln dr. bs shetti sir, ln dr.koti sir, ipp ln shrikant joshi sir, first vp ln shrinidhi nargund ji, dc for vision ln prakash kulkarni ji and memebrsd of our club. members of other 4 hubli lions (joined as joint activity of hubli lions clubs) distributed fruit juice pack to all and made awareness march a very grand success. police commissioner hubli dharwad ips shri shashi kumar sir and kmcri director shri dr ishwar hosamani sir along with 800 plus students and volunteers joined the rally. once again we thank ln dr. krishna prasad sir and MM joshi eye institute and hospital.

Independence Day celebrations
The independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2025 along with Lions Club of Fatorda Cyber members at our adopted Government Middle School, Sirvodem. The flag hoisting was followed by various competitions for the students. Later snacks were distributed to the students and teachers.
