As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

National Deworming Day was observed by Lions Club of Panjim
*LIONS CLUB OF PANJIM* National Deworming Day (NDD) is a biannual, nationwide initiative in India, primarily observed on February 10 and August 10, aimed at eradicating soil-transmitted helminths (intestinal worms) in children aged 1–19. Albendazole tablets will be distributed to the students to combat anemia, malnutrition, and to improve overall health and education. The President and Members of Lions Club of Panjim conducted the same for the students of Greenlawn School, Neura. Albendazole tablets were distributed to the students.
