As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Teachers Day and official visit of our Region Chairperson MJF Lion Vishwamber Kenkre
Today 6.9.25 Lions club of Curchorem sanvordem in association with Kakodkar's School,The New Educational Institute , Curchorem Goa celebrated Teachers Day and official visit of our Region Chairperson MJF Lion Vishwamber Kenkre. On the occasion we have facilitated 5 senior teachers for their dedicated service in the field of Education from the hands of RC MJF Lion Vishwamber Kenkre. following Teachers were felicitated on the occasion 1. Mrs. Megha Madgaonkar 2. Mr. Suraj Joshi 3.Mrs. Seema Naik 4.Mrs. Vidhyulata Prabhudessai 5. Mrs. Roopa Navelkar Our Club President Lion Sameer Naik, Club secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai , club treasurer Lion Ashwin D'souza VP1 lion Rocha Pereira, DC Lion Avin Naik, lion Sandeep , Lion Aslam attended the function. Our club also sponsored refreshments to All the teachers and non teaching staff of school.

Celeration of Teachers Day
Today(07.09.2025), Lions Club of Jamkhandi celebrated Teachers Day in Taluka Panchayat Sabha Bhavan at 10:00 a.m, inaugurated by smt. Bheemabai Malshetty(guest and inaugurators of this function), 6 teachers were facilitated for their unlimited services in the field of teaching, and today's chief guest l(Ln. Sangamesh Nirani) is also felicitated around 80 members participated in this program.
