As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

DG SURPRISE VISIT TO ILKAL
On the 5th of September, our DG PMJF Jaiamol Nayak and DCS MJF Dr. Kirti Nayak madam visited the Lions Club of indi and Sindagi. After completion, on the way they visited our home club, Ilkal. on this occasion we shared our club activities and future plans with our DG Sir. On behalf of our region, I put a request to DG, sir, to give more benefits and grants to our region. the interrogation between members and DG is done very nisly .

Awareness Talk by Oncologist on pediatric cancer
On 10th September, our club organised at talk by senior oncologist ,Dr Umesh Hallikeri in which he emphasised the increased incidence of pediatric cancers,its early detection ,treatment and steps to prevent the increased prevalance by stressing on food habits ,regular outdoor activities sports ,restricted use of mobile phones etc
