As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

HONOURED 9 RETIRED TEACHERS OF BHATKAL AN ACCOUNT OF GURUGOURAVARPANE PROGRAM WITH SHAWL, FRUITS KIT, CERTIFICATE, TURBAN AND SHAWL. PADMANBH HEBBAR, SHIVARAM MOGER, REVATI HAVALIMANE, MANJUNATH HEGDE, R S GOND, GAJANAN NAIK AND JAMAL KHAN WERE HONOURED.

Blood Group Checking & Donor Database Drive at Hindu Mahaganapati Utsav – Sindhanur
During the five-day long Hindu Mahaganapati Utsav at Sindhanur, a Blood Group Checking and Donor Database Drive was successfully organized under the initiative of Lions Club / local organizers. Over 500 devotees voluntarily came forward to check their blood group and register themselves in the donor database. The drive aimed to: Identify and record blood groups of devotees. Create a ready donor database for future emergency requirements. Spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Donation of books to library
Lions club Gangavathi donated 101 literature books ,notebooks, pens to Reporter's library and promised for fabrication of racks for books. Lions club president Ln.Dr.Shivakumar Malipatil ,treasurer Ln.Shivappa Gali ln.Dr.Chetan chiniwalar, Ln.Suryanarayan N were present the occasion.
