As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Peace Poster Contest was conducted by President and Members of Lions Club of Panjim.
Peace poster contest was conducted for the students of Azmane High School, Neura. 29 students participated in it. The first prize went to Ms. Rutuja Naik. The second prize was presented to Ms. Shahin Chaudhary and the third prize went to Ms. Savli Naik.

Free eye check up Camp
Lions Club of Canacona in association with Businessman and Social Worker from Canacona Mr. Suraj Naik Gaonkar, organized a free eye check-up camp in co-operation with Matoshri Seva Trust at Agonda Sports Club House premises, on 12th September 2025 from 9.00 am. To 5.00 pm. For inaugural function Mr. Suraj Naik Gaunkar, Mr. Rajesh Phal Desai, Mr. Nandeep Bhagat, Mr. Sanjit Desai, Mr Vinay Tubki of Bio Diversity Committee, Ex-Sarpanch Mrs. Fatima Rodriguese and The Deputy Sarpanch of Village Panchayat of Agonda and Reporters of print media and our Club members were present. During the Camp more than 300 needy people were benefited to have sight checking and a 250 people were provided with free spectacles. Camp was conducted from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm almost for 9 hours. More than 300 people benefited. More than ₹40,000/- valued spacts were distributed to the needy people. The Camp was a grand success even beyond expectations.

Donation of Rs. 7500/- was contributed to NGO Smile Foundation. Chairperson for Peace Poster Contest MJF Lion Agnelo Da Silva and MJF Lion Maria from Lions club of Chodan was also present.

Jatha To save Historical Heritage and Continue Workshop on Banking Services-12.09.2025
Yesterday (12.09.2025), members of Lions Club of jamkhandi participated and inaugurated Jatha by Ln.MJF.Dr. H G Daddi to save historical heritage organised by B.L.D.E college jamkhandi, in collaboration with Lions Club of jamkhandi, At 11 am Jatha started from B.L.D.E college, and ended at Sri jambukeshwar temple. Before starting Jatha in program Ln.MJF.Dr. H G Daddi explained regarding conservation of historical heritages which are now in bad conditions and also explained about the importance of conservation of Heritages places in and around jamkhandi City. Our Lions Club President Ln.Dr. M. P Tanappagol received an appreciation certificate and promised to conserve the Heritages places through the lions Club of jamkhandi.
