As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Ladies Nite
Ladies Nite was held on 18 February 2026 with PDG MJF Lion Shrikant More as Chief Guest. Following competitions were held 👗 Best Dressed Lady Competition 🍴 Cooking Competition – Veg / Non-Veg Starter It was attended by 16 members of the club.

PDG Visit of PDG Lion Shrikant More on 18th Feb 2026
PDG MJF Lion Shrikant More attended the GB of Lions club of Ponda City on 18th Feb 2026 held at Club House. Secretary MJF Lions Narasinha Kamat Dhakankar presented the report of the activities conducted by the club. It was attended by 16 members.

Club Lions Leadership Institute Session Held by MJF Lion Sushma Vengurlekar
27 February 2026 CLLI session was organised by our club and MJF Lion Sushma Vengurlekar was the Guest Speaker. It was very informative and a very good program. The session not only helped in revising the rules and regulations of Club level working but also learnt new things. It was attended by 5 Members.

Vedic Maths Workshop In Collaboration with SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy, Mangeshi
Vedic Maths Workshop In Collaboration with SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy, Mangeshi for Selected 20 Students of Government High School, Sadar was held on 11, 12 and 14 February 2026 at Gamma Impact Lecture Hall, Second Floor, Varad Building, Sadar, Ponda (Opp. to Govt. High School, Sadar). The faculty was PMJF Lion Sagar Sacordekar. Certificates Distribution Function was held on Saturday 14th July 2026 at 11 am in the presence of Lion Members.

Detailed Vedic Mathematics Workshop
Conducted detailed 2 days Vedic Maths (Part 2) Workshop for selected students of Std. V & VI of Marina English High School, Verna. Certificates were awarded to all the participants and prizes were awarded to selected students.

Dental Camp
Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona organized Dental camp at Hall of Agonda Sports Club at Agonda Canacona Goa from 10:00am. To 1:30 pm. On 28th February 2026 We have served 62 patients with screening, cleaning, filling and removal of teeth. 20 Lions members and 15 Leo members spend 4 hrs. and Rs. 25,000/- to success this program. Total 3,000 people benefited of this program.

Attended District Governor Zone Advisory Meeting
On 8th September 2nd District Governors Zone Advisory meeting of Zone 2 Region 4 headed by Zone Chairperson Ln.Sachin Patil was hosted by Lions Club of Bicholim at Bicholim. Club President Ln Jyotsna Pokle attended the meeting. Clubs administrative and service actikvity report and future projects were presented by secretaries and presidents of club. Our club member and District Global Membership Team Coordinator MJF Lion Sushant Pokle was invited to speak on the topic membership growth and Mission 1.5.
