As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

BOD meeting 12/07/2025
Lions Club of Old Goa held its regular Board of Director Meeting at Hotel Ratna Sagar – Old Goa, Goa on 12/07/2025. Following Board members were present:- 1. 26. Handing over of Food Grains to needy person
Lions club of Old Goa members visited and handed over Food grains to a needy person at Old Goa on 26th July 2025. Lion President Daniel Gonsalves. Secretary Lion Adv Purushottam Karpe, Treasurer Lion Dilip Borkar, MJF Lion Sunil Mevada and Lion Pradeep Vernekar were present during the activity.

Medical Help given to needy person
Medical help was also given to the needy person at Old Goa on 26th July 2025. Lion President Daniel Gonsalves has graciously informed her that Medicial help would be given to her for a year. 48th INSTALLATION CERMONY
The newly elected team was installed by Installation Officer – VDG1 PMJF Lion Rajshekar Hirematt, who inspired the gathering with his motivating address. New Members were warmly inducted by Lion Gavisiddappa Mudagal, who welcomed them into the global Lions movement of service. The event was graced by Chief Guests: Sri Sriharsha Sri Basanna Gouda Badarli (MLC) Their presence added honour and encouragement to the occasion. The evening was a memorable one, filled with camaraderie, commitment to service, and new beginnings!
