As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Installation Ceremony
A New Dawn of Leadership and Service 🌟 An inspiring evening marked the beginning of a new chapter for both our Lions and Leo teams, as the Installation Ceremony was held on 19th July at MCC Hall, Navelim. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries: Chief Guest PMJF PMCC Lion Angelo Alcasoas, Installation Officer PMJF Lion Rajshekhar Hiremath, and Induction Officer Lion Dr. Chandrakant Hiremath, whose presence brought great prestige and motivation to the occasion. new leo and lion members were inducted. Under the leadership of our newly installed President Lion Justice Utkarsh Bakre, alongside Secretary Lion Amit and Treasurer Lion Dr. Sharvani, the dynamic Board of Directors is now poised to lead with purpose, compassion, and dedication. Equally inspiring was the installation of our enthusiastic Leo team—President Leo Sahil Madkaikar, Secretary Leo Firdaus Sayyed, and Treasurer Leo Samarth Desai—guided ably by their passionate Leo Advisor Lion Pooja Prabhudessai. These young leaders carry forward the spirit of service with zeal and a fresh perspective. With hearts united and goals aligned, we look forward to a meaningful year filled with impactful projects, community outreach, and service beyond self.

AS A MEASURE OF PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT,LIONS CLUB GOKAK CONDUCTED " VANAMAHOTSAVA " ON 23.07.2025 DURING 9 AM TO 11 AM IN THE CAMPUS OF SHRI BASAVAJYOTI ITI COLLEGE,FALLS ROAD,GOKAK.RFO GOKAK MR.ANAND HEGADE WAS THE CHIEF GUEST.25 SAPLINGS WERE PLANTED .PRESIDENT LION SHRISHAIL HANJI,SECRETARY,TREASURER,AND MANY LIONS WERE PRESENT.

"Eyes for a Better Tomorrow – Take the Pledge Today!"
Vision – Eye Pledge Initiative Under this initiative, our club actively supported the cause of eye care awareness. Eye Pledge forms were duly signed by all members and non-Lion attendees,also collected used frames for recycling , reinforcing the importance of regular eye checkups and vision protection.

As part of our Hunger relief efforts, a wholesome lunch was served to the inmates of Matru Chhaya, Gogol. This act of service brought comfort and nourishment to the residents and strengthened our mission of caring for those in need.

"Knowledge Shared, Futures Shaped."
The MAST Foundation, in association with our club, generously distributed sweet packets to the students of the Government Primary School, Navelim. In our continued commitment to education, storybooks and a football were handed over to the Headmistress, Mrs. Beena Lotlikar, for the benefit of the schoolchildren—creating an atmosphere of joy and learning. Additionally, books were presented to deserving students, reinforcing our dedication to empowering young minds through education.

Planting Today, Greening Tomorrow.
To encourage environmental consciousness, planting flowering plants, seedlings were distributed to all members present. This green initiative aimed to promote sustainable practices and inspire members to contribute toward a cleaner and healthier planet.
