As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Flood Relief Kit Distribution

Grocery and Essential Goods Kit was distributed to the victims of Flood. Special Thanks to our District Governor and District 317B for their contribution and support. Event was coordinated by MJF Lion MK Shanbhag

Breast Cancer Awareness Talk

Breast Cancer Awareness talk was conducted in GB Garments for spreading awareness among the Female workers working in the Garment industry. Our on Senior Lion Member Dr. G G Hegde famous Gynecologist addressed the gathering and explained the symptoms, possible affects, treatment and self examination techniques. Our Club Secretary informed about upcoming Mega Health Checkup camp, where tests to diagnose Cancer going to be conducted FREE of Cost and urged participants to spread the message and take advantage of the facility being arranged by Lions Club of Kumta in association with AJ Hospital Mangalore. Our Lion Member and 1st VP Lion Vishnu Patgar organized the event.

Celebration of 64th Goa liberation day

64th Goa liberation day was celebrated at Govt primary school Varca on 19th December 2025. Indian national flag was unfurled at the hands of chief guest Fr.Jaison Travasso Asst Parish priest of our lady of Gloria church Varca.During the program children displayed their talents through their singing and speeches.DC pmjf lion jack Gonsalves,DC Lion Adrian Torres and Lion Harshad Naik was present.

LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR---Inter-District Twinning Programme

On 13/12/2025, an Inter-District Twinning Programme was conducted between the Lions Club of Siddapur, District 317-B and the Lions Club of Sagar, District 317-C. The programme was organised by the Lions Club of Siddapur at Lions Balabhavana, Siddapur. The twinning strengthened friendship, fellowship, and cooperation between the two clubs, promoting unity and the spirit of service across districts.

LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR CLLI Session

On 20/12/2025, under CLLI (Club Lions Leadership Institute), PDG PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde spoke on “Are You Proud as a Lion?”, inspiring members to reflect on the pride, values, and responsibilities of being a Lion. In the same session, Dist GLT Co-Ordinator, PMJF Lion Ashok addressed the topic “Your Role as a Lion”, emphasizing active participation, leadership, and meaningful service to strengthen clubs and communities.

LIONS CLUB SIRSI Fundraising Programme for the Expansion of Sirsi Lions School

On 24/12/2025, the Lions Club of Sirsi organised a fund-raising programme for the expansion of Sirsi Lions School, particularly for the proposed Ladies’ Hostel project. The programme was conducted under the banner “Gaan Sudhe”, a devotional song concert. The concert featured the renowned Kannada devotional singer Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak and the talented young artist Smt. Surekha Hegde. The programme was truly wonderful and was attended by the general public in large numbers, who highly appreciated the efforts of the Lions Club of Sirsi. Through this event, the club successfully collected around ₹25 lakhs, which will be utilized for the expansion project of Sirsi Lions School. The Lions Club of Sirsi continues to be a frontrunner in educational service activities through its prestigious permanent project, Sirsi Lions School. As Zone Chairperson (ZC), I attended and thoroughly enjoyed the event, and I congratulate the club for its dedicated service towards education and community development.
