As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE & CLUB EXTENSION WORKSHOP IN HUBLI ON 23.11.2025
Attended the The District Global Extension Team in association with Lions Club of Hubli-Centennial, Hubli, which organised a Workshop on Membership Drive and Club Extension and Speciality Clubs at Hubli on 23rd November 2025 . The Event was Inaugurated by our District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik. His Inaugural Address was very Motivational and Inspiring. The keynote Address by our own District Cabinet Secretary, PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti Naik was so impactful that every participant were spellbound. In order to make the Event more lively a few entertainment activities were conducted showcasing their talents by the participants. The Workshop Cum Cultural Event was attended by large number of Lions Leaders from across the District. The Workshop cum Entertainment programme was attended by over 40 members from the Distric 317B, including Goa.

THE DIWALI DHAKA WAS HELD AT THE DISTRICT LEVEL AT HUBLI ON THE 22ND NOVEMBER, 2025. THE SAME WAS ORGANISED AT THE RAJ FARMS, UNKAL, HUBLI. THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR, PMJF JAIAMOL NAIK, FIRST LADY & DCS, PMJF LION DR. KIRTI NAIK, THE DCT, MJF LION RAHUL VERENKAR AND OVER 70 MEMBERS FROM DIST 317B ATTENDED THE FUNCTION, WHICH STARTED AT 7.30 PM AND ENDED AT MIDNIGHT. MJF LION RICHARD PINTO WAS THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES. THE CROWD HAD A FABULOUS TIME WITH GAMES, SPOT PRIZES, DANCING AND SUMPTIOUS SNACKS & DINNER. IT WAS A NITE TO REMEMBER. THE GATHERING HAD A GREAT CELEBRATION NITE. THE FUNCTION WAS ORGANISED BY THE DG PMJF JAIAMOL NAIK AND HIS CABINET TEAM ALONG WITH THE LC OF HUBLI .

2ND ZONE ADVISORY MEETING
THE 2ND ZONE ADVISORY MEETING OF REGION 5 ZONE 2 WAS HELD BY THE ZC MJF LION RICHARD PINTO ON 19TH NOVEMBER, 2025 AT THE LIONS CLUB OF PANJIM CLUB PREMISES AT PANJIM, GOA. LC OF PANJIM WAS THE HOST CLUB. RC LION MURTAZA MATHERANWALA WAS ALSO PRESENT ALONG WITH THE LION CLUBS OF PANJIM & THE LIONS CLUB OF CALANGUTE. LION CAJI MENDONSA, PRESIDENT OF LC OF ALDONA WAS PRESENT AS HE WAS INVITED TO ADDRESS THE MEMBERS ON THE LIFE SAVING PROJECT BEING INITIATED BY HIM. THE MEETING WAS HELD WITH THE REQUIRED AGENDA WHICH WAS FOLLOWED AS PER PROTOCOL, THE MEETING ENDED WITH SNACKS OFFERED BY THE HOST CLUB. 7 MEMBERS IN ALL WERE PRESENT.

All Goa Hindi Film Song Singing Competition
It is said, " Music is a healer of pains" Lions club of Sankhali who has always valued music conducted an All Goa Hindi Film Song Singing competition " Goa Sangeet Sangam" as a part of musical night on 23 rd November 2025 at La Tara open Air Venue, Sankhali Goa. The said grand event was sponsored by PMJF Ln. Praveen Blaggan as a tribute to late great legendry singer Mohommad Rafi. Around 88 videos were received for auditions from across the state out of which 14 solo and 7 duet were selected for finals on 23 rd. The event was judged by Annapurna Sakhardande and Manoj Dessai. Chief Guest for the program was District Governer PMJF Ln JaiAmol Naik and District Cabinet Secretary, PMJF Ln Dr. Kirti Naik was Guest of Honour, Region Chairperson PMJF Ln. Prashant Chanekar and Zone chairperson Ln Sachin Patil grace the program. Project coordinator for the event was District chairperson for musical night Ln. Prashant Phatarpekar. Around 320 Lions and non Lions attended the event . All the finalists were presented with mementos. First five winners in solo were awarded with trophies along with cash prizes. So also first three winners in duet were awarded with trophies along with cash prizes. It was truly a mesmerizing night of music mania with distinct soothing voices showcasing their expertise in the field of music.
