As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Making an Impact, One Activity at a Time!

Blood Donation Camp

Our club with a vision of 'Donate Blood save Life' organised a Blood Donation camp in association with Brahman Mahasangh and Physio treat in Sankhali. We observed a good response from people around collecting almost 27 pints. 3 members from our club voluntarily donated their blood. Refreshments were served to medical staff and donors. 14 members were present for the activity.

Zone Advisory 3 rd Meeting

3rd Zone Advisory Meeting was held on 23/02/2026 at 5.30 PM at Hotel Sapna Comfort. Murdeshwar, Honnaver, Kumata and Ankola Lions Clubs participated in this meeting. It was chaired by Zone Chairperson MJF LN. Mangala Nayak.

Pediatric cancer awareness talk at kokati school

Lions Club of Hubli -Centennial, Hubballi, on Friday the 20th February, arranged an Awareness Talk on Incidence of Childhood Cancer, at R K Kokati High School , Unkal, Hubballi. Dr. Umeshwar Hallikere of Karnataka Cancer Therapy and Research Institute, Navanagar, was the Resource Person. Speaking on the occasion, he advised the Children , Ignoring of Symptoms in the early stages leads greater health hazards at the later stages. Further advised that maintaining good hygiene is the best way to avoid Cancer Incidence. Head Master of the High School Sri B G Shivakumargouda , Lion Sudha Hanamaraddi, Lion Manjunath Hanamaraddi were present on the occasion. Further, the Club in Association with Shishu Care Hospital, Hosur, Hubballi , conducted a Dental and General Check up of the Children of Lower Primary Section of the R K Kokati School. Dr. Alok S Patil, noted Pediatrician and his staff conducted the Checkup.

Dt. 13-02-2026. On the occasion of World Anemia Day in Pediatrics, in Association with Shishu Care Hospital, Hosur, Hubballi conducted a Campaign on Anaemia, in Children, wherein Children were examined for free and also were also given free Health Supplements . No of Children examined:: 184 No of hours spent:: 8 The above activity was Sponsored by Dr. Alok S Patil and Shishu Care Hospital, Hosur.
