As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Donation of Wheelchair to a need specially abled woman.
President MJF Lion Shreya Naik donated a wheelchair to a needy specially abled woman, reaffirming the club’s dedication to uplifting those in need. This wheelchair was handed over to the daughter of the specially abled woman at the hands of our District Governor, PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik, on 25th June 2025, at Bodgeshwar Temple Hall.

Eye Screening camp
Eye screening camp was held today on 31st of July 2025 at St. Aloysius School - Benaulim. 133 students were checked out of which 32 needs further investigation. In relation to above and previous screening camp held in Infant Jesus High School, full fledged eye check up camp will be organized on 2nd of August for those who needs investigation and also for general public

Dental Camp @ School Mahila and Nutan High School On 22nd July 2025
Dental Camp @ School Mahila and Nutan High School On 22nd July 2025 conducted by Lion Dr. Satish Haldonkar and Lion Dr. Alisha Haldonkar for 8th Standard Class Student, a total of 130 Students benefited, 3 Students identified with best dentition were given prices and 30 students identified and referred for urgent dental checkup. Along with the checkup a dental hygiene kit bearing Tooth paste and mouth wash and Dental Hygiene guidelines pamphlet was distributed amongst the students.
