As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Hungers week 1st day
Hunger week. The Lions club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona on the Hunger week we started at 8: am on 03rd January 2025 at Kadamba Bus Stand with huge crowd around 500 odd laborers at KTC bus stand where we had given tea, Juice and Biscuit. Total 15 Lions members and 10 Leo members joined and spend 2 hrs. and Rs. 10000/- to success this programme.

Attending monthly activity by RC
The birthday's of Lions who are December celebrants were celebrated in an orphanage Matru Chaya, Margao. 25 chairs were donated.

Twinning activity with Lion's club of Ponda. Visited Shanti Avedna Cancer Hospital and Albergue Old Age Home. Necessary items were distributed.
