As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Motivational Speech for Students regarding "Moral Values In Life"

On July 6th, 2025, The Lions Club of Haveri focused on inspiring students for their future. The session emphasized the critical importance of character building, encouraging a hardworking nature, fostering strong emotional control, and instilling vital self-discipline and self-control as foundational traits for every student's success and positive contribution to society.

Tree Plantation in School

The Lion Members of Haveri recently undertook a significant green initiative, successfully planting 100 saplings within the premises of Lions English Medium School Haveri as part of their ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and community upliftment. This commendable effort aims to enhance the school's aesthetics, provide shade, improve air quality, and foster a greener learning environment for students.

Installation Ceremony

The Installation Ceremony of Lions Club of Haveri was successfully held, marking the formal induction of the new President Andanayya Kabbinakantimath, Secreatary Shivraj Mathur, Treasure Ramesh Patil and office bearers for the upcoming Lionistic year. The event was a meaningful occasion filled with pride, gratitude and a renewed commitment to service.

One Year Degree College Fees of 5 Underpriviliged Blind Students of C S C S Andharakalyana Ashram Navanagar, Hubli.

Lions Club of Hubli City, under the dynamic leadership of President Ln Mahantesh Khodanpur, sponsored one-year degree college fees for five underprivileged blind students from Chikkenakoppa Shree Channaveera Sharanara Andharakalyana Ashram, Navanagar, Hubli, on 12th July 2025. This noble initiative was graced by the presence of VDG PMJF Ln Rajshekar Hiremath, along with dedicated members of the Lions Club of Hubli City. The gesture reflects the club’s unwavering commitment to education, inclusivity, and social upliftment, staying true to the values of Lionism.

Tree plantation

A successful tree plantation program was organized on the premises of the Government First Grade Women’s College, located on Kushtagi Road, Sindhanur, where 100 saplings were planted. As part of the initiative, two students were assigned the responsibility of nurturing each sapling. Lions Club President, Ln. Venkatesh Gudapati, stated: "Those who care for their assigned saplings with love and dedication will be recognized as 'Environmental Guardians' after three years and will receive a special reward." The event was supported by Mr. Amaregouda, President of Vanasiri Foundation, and Mr. Nekkanti Suresh, President of Akhanda Bhoomi Foundation. This program marked a significant step in raising environmental awareness among students
