As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

World Day Against Human trafficking
On the occasion of World Day Against Human Trafficking, the Lions Club of Candolim donated pre-loved clothes to POTI, a joint venture of ARZ, WISH, Goa Waste Management Corporation and Mormugao Municipality. this initiative will help victims of violence who will transform the clothes into products of everyday use.

Lions Club of Hubli City , in association with Secure Hospital , Hubballi and KLE Society’s Prerana P.U. Science College , successfully organized an educational session titled "Empowering Young Women: Adolescent Health Awareness" for the girl students of Prerana P.U. College. The session was conducted by our esteemed Health Expert, Dr. Smitha Priyadarshini , who enlightened the students on crucial topics including: Health and hygiene instructions Common health issues in the adolescent age group Time and stress management Screen addiction – problems and solutions Daily lifestyle and food habits Open conversation and Q&A with the expert
