Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

our club conducted " Club Level Leadership Institute" for our Members on 1st March 2026 from 6 pm onwards. District Cabinet Secretary PMJF Lion Dr. Kirti Nayak was the faculty. The main topic was leadership/ membership extension and protocol. total 20 members attended the CLLI.

Lions club of Margao Ravanfond conducted a session for teachers of Shishuvikas School on Nutrition and Menopause Management on 23rd Feb 2026 . The resource person for the session was Mrs. Kushi Bandodkar a Clinical Dietician and Research Assistant. The session was a successful one, helping teachers to upgrade their knowledge in the respective subject.
