As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Celebrated National Doctor's Day
The President MJF Lion Wilson Rodrigues and Members of Lions Club of Panjim Kickstarted their Lionistic year by celebrating National Doctor's Day today 1st July 2025. Dr. Kanahaiya Sirsat, an Ayurvedic Doctor gave a talk to the students of Environskills Academy, Panjim. The interactive session was for college students on mobile addiction, gaming, social media, smoking, anxiety, depression and many other topics that children face on a day to day basis.

Celebrated Vanamahostsav in the School premises
The President and Members of Lions Club of Panjim celebrated Vanamahostsav, Festival of Trees at the Greenlawn Primary School, Neura. Decorative Palm Trees were planted on the lawns. The President MJF Lion Wilson Rodrigues and Members distributed medicinal saplings like *Hibiscus Rosa -sinensis* used to treat liver problems, *Tabernaemontana Divearicata* used to cure eye diseases and scabies, *bryophyllum pinnatum* for coughs and colds, *lemongrass* for treating digestive tract spasms etc to name a few were distributed to the students of Greenlawn School.

Talk to the children of Greenlawn Primary School Neura on Value Education and how to treat elders in the family.
A representative Mr. Hrishikesh, from an NGO *Helpage India,* visited the school and gave a programme for the school students. It was an audio visual presentation on Value Education. The Students of the school presented a skit on helping elders at home and in public areas. The idea was to inculcate in them when young on how to be empathetic to the elders around them.

Attended 30th Installation ceremony of Lions Club of Margao Gomant Gogol on 19th July 2025 at 7:30 pm in MCC hall Margao Goa. Two new members were inducted under the leadership of Lion Justice Utkarsh Bakre.
