As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Donation of school benches
The Lions Club of Margao donated 40 School benches to 2 classrooms at Utkarsh High School,Rivona. The inauguration of the benches was done by a zone chairperson.MJF Lion Krishnaji, Bagali , and past District governor Lion, Srikanth More. The students were delighted and this marked a stepping stone towards the future generation.

CONDUCTED AWARENESS CAMP ABOUT MILLET.
AN AWARENESS CAMP ON THE IMPORTANCE OF MILLETS FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE WAS SUCCESSFYLLY CONDUCTED FOR OUR CLUB MEMBERS. THE RESOURSE PERSON SHIVANAND NAIK DEVELOPED AN INFORMATIVE SESSION HIGHLIGHTING THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF MILLETS, THEIR NUTRITIONAL VALUE AND THE ROLE OF MILLET-BASED FOOD HABIITS IN PREVENTING LIFESTYLE DISEASES. HE ALSO EXPLAINED PRACTICAL WAYS TO INCLUDE MILLETS IN DAILY DIETS FOR IMPROVED HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. THE PROGRAM CREATED GOOD AWARENESS AMONG MEMBERS ABOUT ADOPTING MILLET CONSUMPTION FOR A HEALTHIER LIFE.
