As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Conducted Tree Plantation by distributing 200 Tulsi ( Basel) Plants to General Public on 31-7-25. 6 Lions Attended.

Received Golden club Award during District cabinet installation held on 26th July 2025
Total 49 members from our club contributed $10 each toward Golden club award. The award along with the certificate was presented to the club President during district cabinet installation at the hands of Past International Director Lion K. Vamsidhar Babu on 26th July, 2025

Installation officer pmjf lion Sudesh borkar second vdg, chefgust honorable lawyer Subhash narvekar, charted member Ln.Dr.V R Mallan. PMJF Ln.Ganpati Nayak,RDC R H Nayak participated in this occasion. Lion Ravindra kodlikere handovered the pin to incoming president Nagaraj Hanehalli and their team.121 people participated in this program and accepted our hospitality.

Planting saplings
Planting saplings program was held on 20th July at bhadrakali junior College compound Gokarna. Fruits and medicine saplings were planted and put up pence for the planted plants. Varieties of saplings served to the student to plant in their mother'snsme. 140 saplings were served . Our goal is to plant 1000 saplings along this year.

RELIEVING HUNGER CAMPAIGN
Lions Club of Chodan hosted Lunch for the inmates of "Holy Family Old Age Home" Chodan, on Friday 1st August, 2025. The inmates sang a birthday song to Club Secretary Lion Santosh Gaonkar who sponsored the Lunch.
