As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Mandatory visit of zone chairman Region 2 zone 1 lion Gaurish vernekar to the club
Zone chairman Region 2 zone 1 lion Gaurish vernekar paid his official visit to the club at the function held at Fabina's cafe at sonsodo road Gogol fatorda salcete goa.During his visit club felicitated 3 artists e.g. Lord Ganesha idol maker Gold and silver ornaments designer, Fine art teacher who is involved in teaching fine arts The function was well attended by lions and families.Guests.and prominent people in field of art. Function was followed by fellowship and dinner.
