As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Visit to my Home club Lions Club of Calangute on 15th Aug 2025 at Calangute association at thier activity of Blood Donation camp and attended thier BOD and General Body Meeting.This is a CLUB visit but since 2 clubs are visited on same day it shows duplicate activity .

celebrated 79th Independence Day at Govt HS Xeldem Goa
Today Lions club of Curchorem sanvordem celebrated 79th India's Independence day at Government High School Xeldem Quepem Goa. On this occasion we have conducted a Fancy dress competition for the students. Total 10 students participated. We sponsored the first 3 prizes and participation certificates for the students. Also our club has served refreshments for all the students. Our Club President Lion sameer Naik, Secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai, Treasure Ashwin Dsouza, VP1 lion Rocha periera ,lion Aslam Shaikh, DC Lion CA Vaibhav Bale and Lion Avin Naik attended the function.

Flag Hoisting at Lions KG & Primary School
Lions Club of Ponda Celebrated 79th Independence Day at Club's Lions K.G. & Primary School. The flag hoisting was done at the hands of the President, Lion Shivprasad Salkar. Thereafter prize distribution was done for the Radha Krishna Competition was done at the hands of attending Lions

Rakshabandhan with Specially Abled Children of Lokvishwas Pratishthan School
Lions Club of Ponda organised Raksha Bandhan at Lokvishwas Pratishthan School and attending Lady Lions & Lion Ladies tied Rakhees to 150 Students. We also distributed sweets on the occasion to all the students & staff.

Rice Plantation at Anmod
Lions Club of Ponda organised a Rice sapling plantation program at Kelekar Fars, Anmod. 18 Lions attended and actively took part in the plantation. 135 students and 11 teachers of Sarvodaya Higher Secondary School also participated in the same & actively took part in the plantation an learnt the craft of fogotten manula rice plantation

Tree Plantation at Govt Higher secondary school, Sanguem
Tree plantation program was held at Govt Higher secondary school sanguem..Total 30 trees were planted..Our club member and Hon'ble Minister for Social Welfare MJF Lion Subhash Phaldessai was also present during tree plantation..

Inauguration of Smart TV Class._
50" LED Smart TV along with the the software for learning various subjects in kannada medium by students of 6th to 10th grade was donated and the Smart TV Class was inaugurated on 14-08-2025 at 11.30 am by our President MJF Lion Jeevottam Nayak at Government High school Banasale. Function was held from 11.30 am to 1 30 pm. SDMC President, Vice president, 5 SDMC members, Head Master, 4 Teachers,169 students and 9 Lion members including PST and RC were present. Total expenses: Rs 1,75,000/.
