Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

The Board of Directors meeting for the month of June has been organized at Mali Samaj Bhavan on Sunday, 07/06/2026 at 10.00 am. The topics to be discussed in this meeting are as follows 1) Regarding the pending contributions of the 25th-26th year as discussed in the GBM meeting on 27.05.2026. 2) Regarding the finalization of the selection of the D.C. for the year 2026-27. 3) Regarding obtaining the details of the installation for the year 2026-27. 4) Regarding the bonding of the details of the eye donors as part of the World Eye Donation Day on 10.06.26. 5) Regarding organizing a sapling planting program in Alabal and Jamkhandi schools in collaboration with the Forest Department. 6) Regarding organizing the Annadasava for the month of June. 8) Regarding last date for HMB (Human Breast Milk) permanent project a minimum Rs 3500 (contribution per member) is 12.06.2026

LIONS CLUB JAMKHANDI LAUNCHES MEGA TREE PLANTATION DRIVE ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
37 Trees Planted Around Mini Vidhana SoudhaTo translate environmental awareness into immediate, tangible action, the club organized a premier green initiative on the establishment's grounds:The Action: A total of 37 saplings were successfully planted to create a sustainable green belt.Joint Execution: The drive was personally led by the Chief Guest alongside Lions Club office bearers, distinguished guests, and dedicated Lions volunteers.The Location: Tree planting was strategically executed completely around the perimeter of the Mini Vidhana Soudha, Jamkhandi, guaranteeing a lasting environmental footprint for the government complex.Sustainability Commitment: All present took a collective oath to regularly monitor and nurture the newly planted trees to ensure high survival rates.Distinguished Dignitaries PresentChief Guest: Smt. PU College for a Resounding Success on World Environment DayJAMKHANDI: In a exemplary display of community service and environmental stewardship, the Lions Club of Jamkhandi successfully spearheaded a joint venture with the Boys Government Pre-University College, Jamkhandi. The mega event beautifully combined the celebration of World Environment Day with the Welcome Ceremony for the newly appointed College Development Committee (CDC) officials, achieving monumental success.The grand event witnessed an overwhelming response with huge participation from local dignitaries, forest officials, college staff, and enthusiastic students.Major Highlight: 50 Trees Donated and Planted by Lions ClubThe defining moment of the day was the generous donation of 50 tree saplings by the Lions Club of Jamkhandi. Following the formal stage function, a massive plantation drive was executed across the campus. Dignitaries, college staff, and students joined hands with the proud members of the Lions Club to plant these 50 trees all around the school ground, creating a lasting green legacy for the institution.Lions Club President La.
