As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ATTENDED LIONS CLUB OF BANAVASI HUNGER RELIEF SIGNATURE ACTIVITY
As part of its signature activity, the Lions Club of Banavasi conducted " Anna Dashoha" (Hunger Relief) activity at Shri Veeranjaneya Temple, Banavasi. Prasad and snacks were distributed to the devotees. 497 people served. This being the last month of this lionstic year, as ZC, I had an opportunity to attend the divine service activity.

LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI YOGA DAY
Lions Club of Sirsi, involved in Yoga day Mass celebration with all NGOs of SIRSI, like Rotary club, IMA Senior Chamber. For the last 12 years, we have been doing it together. More than 150 people joined this event. As ZC actively participated in the event

SOLAR POWER ENERGY PROJECT
LIONS INTERNATIONAL blesses Chodan with 'Solar Energy Panels' to Five needy families thru Lions Club of Chodan & Lions Club of Dabolim. "SOLAR SUVARNA URJA" an awesome initiative by District 317B. The first two houses were inaugurated by District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik on April 20th 2026 in presence of District officers, various club representatives and Chodan Village Panchayat Sarpanch & members. Subsequently the other three houses work was completed and officially handed over to the house owners on YOGA DAY 21st June 2026 at the hands of Club President Lion Manoj Mahale. Thanks to our beloved District Governor PMJF Lion JaiAmol Naik.
