As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Yoga Day
Our club observed International Yoga Day promoting health, harmony, and well‑being which highlighted the importance of yoga in daily life and strengthened our commitment to community wellness.

GB Meeting (Farewell Meeting)
GB meeting for June, 2026 was conducted on 13/6/26. Farewell meeting was also conducted by the out going PST of Lionistic year 2025-26. PDG MJF Lion Harsh Desai & MJF Lion Anand Kamalapur were felicitated during this meeting for having being honored by the International President award and Chevron award respectively. Senior members appreciated the efforts put in by the PST in successfully running the Club for the Lionistic Year 2025-26. The PST were honored by ZC MJF Lion Shaila Kargudri.

Environment
On 17th June 2026, Environment program was celebrated at Dr. BH Kamalapur Farm Sadhankeri Dharwad. More than 25 Mango trees were planted, Environmentalist Sri. PV Hiremath spoke on this occasion. Toal 25 Lion members & 15 Non Lions participated in this event.

World Environment Day
Environment day was celebrated on 8th June 2026, by planting 10 saplings at Govind Niwas, Malmaddi, Dharwad. 25 Lion members participated in this event. Lion Sreekant CK celebrated his birthday on this occasion & hosted breakfast to all the members present.

Each One Plant One – Tree Sapling Donation
The Leo Club of Hubli Centennial organized a tree sapling donation activity under its environmental service initiative. As part of the "Each One Plant One" campaign, tree saplings were distributed to participants and community members with a message to plant, nurture, and protect them for a greener future. The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation, increase green cover, and encourage individual responsibility towards protecting nature. Leo members actively promoted the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and maintaining ecological balance.

Gift of Mobility – Artificial Limb Donation
The Leo Club of Hubli Centennial undertook a meaningful humanitarian service activity by supporting the donation of an artificial limb to a deserving beneficiary who had lost his right arm. This initiative aimed to restore dignity, independence, and confidence to the recipient, enabling him to lead a more productive and self-reliant life. The project reflects the Leo spirit of compassion and service, demonstrating a commitment to improving the quality of life of individuals facing physical challenges. Club members interacted with the beneficiary and encouraged him to pursue his daily activities with renewed hope and confidence.

Motivation for Leo Club Extension
As Region Chairperson, I actively motivated and encouraged the Lions Club of Hubli Centennial to expand the Lions family by sponsoring a Leo Club. Through discussions and guidance on the importance of youth involvement in Lionism, the club was inspired to take the initiative of forming the Leo Club of Hubli Centennial.
