As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Visit to Bal Kalyan Ashram, Talaulim, Ponda on the Occasion of Republic Day
Lions club of Ponda city celebrated the evening of Republic day at Bal Kalyan Ashram, Talaulim, Ponda, a house for orphans and destitute children. The inmates displayed their skills in Mallkhamb. The inmates also played a friendly Kabbadi match. Prizes were given to the 6 best players and consolation gifts to all the participants. 15 members were present.

Republic Day Celebration at Govt Primary School, Khadpabandh
Our Club celebrated Republic Day at Govt Primary School, Khadpabandh, Ponda. Lion MJF Archana Tendulkar, hoisted the National Flag on the Occasion. Students from all the standards performed patriotic Songs and delivered speeches on the occasion. Snacks were distributed for the children. Lion MJF Kiran Naik, Lion Anand Nevrekar and Lion MJF Archana Tendulkar addressed the students.

Lions Club of Ponda City in association with SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy, Mangeshi organised Introductory Vedic Mathematics Workshop for students of Std. V to VII of Government High School, Sadar, Ponda. Resource Person was PMJF Lion Sagar Sakordekar. Lion MJF Kiran Naik distributed Prizes for two Extraordinary Students.
